4 Us

‘Four us’ had ‘all mine’ calculating mischief
Undermining + faulting > (It’s u, u, and u)
So u-cubed / ’we’ three equaled the minus

(9/22/20: ’05 Cruisers Yachts 280 CXI)

Billionaires flaunt a lifestyle we can only dream of; luxurious yachts, opulent mansions, solid gold toilets, decadent precious stones, and world-class cuisine; all materialistic, posh, and ostentatious.

Covid-19 Relief

Doctors have connected the dots:
COVID-19 balloons blood clots!
Avoid aftermath
Just soak in a bath*
To send blood clots sailing like yachts!

* A Japanese study reports that
soaking in a tub 2-4 times each week
reduces clots and blood pressure plus
coronary heart disease by 25% and
strokes by 13%

Summer

Temperatures are always at their peak.
We've only just begun these summer weeks.
Children running through water.
People ready to get down and party.
Beaches, yachts, spending time with friends.
You can only imagine some of the places I've been.
Laying poolside enjoying the food & wine.
I've packed up and left all my worries behind.

Tower

I learned to fly
In a box
Zooming up
To my desk
In Tower Two.
And looking down
On planes
Cruising above
The Hudson.
Gazing at
The Statue
On its island
In the Harbor
Or the yachts
In the club
Marina
Down below.
My thoughts
Sailing off
To distant vistas
Never thinking
Of planes
Planning
A future flight
Toward my tower.

Premium Member lying on the beach

eating an ice cream
telling oneself life is sweet
lying on the beach

looking at the yachts
believing they are in reach
lying on the beach

watching the seagulls
having little accidents
lying on the beach

see the stranded whales
assuming they missed the tide
lying on the beach

getting a suntan
thinking it comes at no cost
lying on the beach

Proverbs With Humor

One is little, two is well
      three is too much "

       Nothing:
        3 castles, 3 yachts, 3 farms
3 billion, is much finer than
        3 pierced tents, 3 pirogues,
        3 shallow pits and 3 dollars ...
        There's no comparison ...!

        "Whoever runs, tires, walks
          and reaches"

         I doubt anyone will reach
         USAIN BOLT walking in
         a 100 m race...

Are You Poor?

I have horse and cars, and two yachts in the bay, You see I am richer than you. I own my own house, and I do holiday, You see I am richer than you. I have a nice flat and a color t.v, You see I am richer than you. I live in this hostel and now I'm debt free, You see I am richer than you. I've been given warm clothes and my meal, I can pay!, You see I am richer than you. I found some clean water, I'll survive this day, Right now I feel richer than you.

The Yachts

Moored in Portofino
Are a bunch of gleaming yachts,
Reminding us that they're the haves
And we're the poor have-nots.

Their owners shop in high-class shops
And dine among their peers
While tourists come by boat or bus
To buy some souvenirs.

With prices slightly higher here,
Gelato still tastes fine.
Both caramel and hazelnut
Filled up a cone of mine.

At leaving time I'll board the bus
And bid the yachts farewell,
Returning to my hotel room
Where normal people dwell.
