Change Ability
Woodrow Wilson, back then a progressive
Now considered a wholesale regressive ~
Just think, Hilary / DJT *
What will you soon be ~
Deplorable compulsive-obsessive
*If Republican, read 'Hilary'
If Democrat, read 'DJT'
Alternatively, read 'JRB,' -- (Joseh Robinette Biden)...

Endless Thoughts
Endless thoughts run through my mind
Of softer things that were always kind
When songs played along in my head
I would wear a smile on my face instead
Of an elongated worried frown around
That always in the end brings me down
Life is for living and not for feeling sad
It doesn't need a wholesale change from bad.

Ballad
Mystical Maniacal Monologue
cryptic calls careen off canyon walls
a study in subtlety seemingly sold
for half an hours hatred and hostility
no need for nonchalant nobility
holding doors for wholesale whores
what a world of want and waste
wasting and wanting what we will
desolate dreams deemed delightful for the damned
and i am left to wonder
what have i done to deserve this?...

Death the Silent Lover
Death the silent lover
always near but far
dedicated to his work
unreliable but faithful
he waits today
but hurries tomorrow
sees, hears his lover
but lover sees him not
he waits as lover feeds
but when he comes
swallows lover wholesale
This silent listener
seeing with eyes closed
hearing with ears blocked
precarious unpredictable
he is!...

Elegy
0800 Complain
(The world’s fasted growth industry)
“While the shopkeeper
displays his wares,
for the whole world
to peruse!”
In infamous sway
behind the ostentation
lives the truth of his
draconian sweat!
The attestation of
wholesale systems
groveling in strategic
mayhem, created to
delegate accountability
to the lowest common
denominator!

Flight - All Spondees
'Plane, take me by coach sky high - reach cold space.
Race Sol's bright light beams westbound - beat night's shade.
Make brain's mind glow like flambeau shines my face,
fly me high so I might know globe's great grace.
Green trees, gray slopes, wide plains, deep lakes we trace,
These wholesale sights show wide view - they don't jade.
We see white fleece shade piles while haze veils brace:
Wheel ways, phone lines - those laid by roadwrights made....

Touch Quartet 3: Flesh
choreography by de sade
lurid in glass cages
masturbating strobe lit neon
orbit decaying speed.
wholesale supplication
self abusing gratification
starving heroin chic
naked jazz gloss pages
clinical execution
seductive as scalpels
warm as polar ice floes
passionate as styrofoam
loveless bloodless corpses
cold animated fever
acid battery jerks
common denominator appeal
promises to be broken
dreams exsanguinated
lives to be killed
flesh...be...mine...

Blank verse
Backyard Fuzziness
Backyard mavens, wise crones
recall generations of groundhogs
that have dwelt in these hedgerows.
In winter
they seed the ground with 'Puffcorn Delites'
bought wholesale from Sam's Club.
The comfortable groundhogs nap in their burrows
contemplating evening feasts.
Furred paws in tartan house slippers
shuffle at back doors. A grey whiskered fuzziness
that is part critter, part elderly granny
stand ever ready
to lend a hand in case baby groundhogs
need burping....
