Hugo was in a great haste
To use his new whitening toothpaste
He gave the tube a hard squirt
And out it did spurt
And the cap was never replaced...

Hair falling off his scissors
Stopping the lengthening
But not the aging
Blackening hair with his dye
Stopping the whitening
But not the hair dropping
As the system of nature is
Irreversible...

White
Whiitener is brighter than white
Always reflects better quite
Ensures the mistake is hidden
Assures the fairness is driven
White before whitener is dull
Never quiet pushes as bull
White looks always brighter
Whitening makes even smarter...

The Day
The day,
   for me, it's a wonderful
   garden of multicolored flowers...
   A flock of singing birds
    singing the most charming melodies...
It's a sunny shower of joy,
   whitening the souls and igniting
   life...
  I love the days...!...

From Night To Day Mystery
Night, night has no eyes...
blind time,
naked scene,
abysses of solemn...
each one's loneliness
creates further emptiness....
In the void, everything dies...
Evening at night but
strangely
a miracle is done
in the whitening
of a fresh day... !...

Premium Member Gone With Gale
Snowy week whitening the slalom slope
Keenly waited for the sleek ski to grope
Inspired by maddening sense of sliding speed
I raced, found my frosted feet suddenly freed
Nailed in snow they couldn’t track the ski’s trail
Gone soaring with the glacial gale into the dale.

The Painting On the Wall
The painting,
            on the wall
           from splendorous art
            almost effaced..
           Due so much
           bitterness totally
           yellowed....
           from fright into
           stupefaction
             almost lost
           all colors...
           But it wasn't whitening,
           it was fading
           of pain...!...

True Phases of Love
Oh love, when shall thee see my Love's scintillating ray
From Heaven, pouring down as the water in Angel Falls
From Earth, surging up as the tidal waves in Fundy Bay
Craving in a heart enclosed by the China's Great Wall
Whitening the chest of Sahara with glistening snowballs
Mystifying even the Mother Nature like the Giza Pyramids
Love, see this Love of mine in all phases! Open your eyelids!...

Rumbling and tumbling in the kitchen
Dishes cups and a chalice, swishing
Adding some wine
The dog’s whitening muzzle greedy munching away
The horses chomping oats and grasses
Plopping rain drops, soggy walkways
The home built as protection
A fence and doorway a sofa
A rainy rainy night as rocks form a river
A castle braced and built for the mind
Mother nature fights for dominion
My small home and I fight to just abide...

Kite
I am a kite,
My yellow heart trapped in the confines of
Two short poles.

My white ribbons spread around me like
Harsh streetlight rays
(In the mornings I conveniently dim to nothing)

I sway tamely to the rhythm of the breeze
I am at the wrong party.

I am stretched
My string spread out straight
A roman
Dead end road.

And I am wrapped around my father’s fingers
Which are whitening at the tips
He is scared.

Will I plummet
Or will I fly?...

Callous Harmattan Clutched
bounty body blushing
heaving hoisted hankering
under tainted touch
callous harmattan clutched
felon feelings fostering
damped desires drooling

smoggy soles scrunching
gaunt hands groaning
laced lips whitening

la-de-da limbs lurching
voluptuous treachery vying
indifferent services squashing

damped faces drying
nocturnal nature smirking.

Exciting... inviting...
   Skywriting...
Anticipation's wing
   Horizon's swing

Eyes peeled on the Heavens
   Murky darkness imperceptibly
                    whitening...
Lighter, lighter
   Brighter, brighter

Streaks of brilliance appear
   Deepest red, fiery orange
      Delicate pink sherbet
Expectation's peaking
   Too vivid to curb it...

When at blinding speed, of a sudden
Here comes Life. ~ Here comes the Sun...

Sahara Doom Scape
I.

Whitening sands upmirror desert glare,
Glinting, underneath my mind’s burnt sun…
Paling, dream expanse.
And there I wander, rootless in some Netherwhere—
Mental vagabond, my trek begun…
Picaresque romance!

II.

Whitening bones appear by poison springs,
Dread oasis, tempting me to drink.
Shining, silver pool,
Mirage aglow. A maiden floats on glassine wings—
Beckoning me toward the toxic sink.
Reckless, I sip cool
Blighted waters. Thirsty fool....

Rooted
Clouds pinched in the squeeze
above harvester hollow
quake those placid trees
to gulp each precious swallow
when fortune decrees
the chosen few to follow.

Despite all noble
intentions of enduring,
arrangements global
decimate cells maturing
once trapped immobile
by mortal traps alluring.

The wind picks up speed
in torrential bursts frightening
to stir living seed
that peppers pallid whitening
as knowledge gains speed
to hasten true enlightening....

Premium Member Cardinals Took Turns
Snow fell hard and fast, whitening everything in her path. Grass, birdbath,
bushes, trees, bird feeders, and bird baths all saturated with the cold stuff.
The only dashes of color are the black limbs and the red cardinals who are
taking deliberate turns at three feeders; the black limbs not nearly as
beautiful as the gorgeous red cardinals.

		           cardinals taking turns
                      pretty red blips in blizzard
                               the only color...

Hand Print
There is a hand print on my window
from a robber, or a ghost,
perhaps a person that I know
has fallen down the lowest.

I sit here looking through it.
I am peaceful, unafraid,
I watch the snow fall bit by bit
to chill a grassy blade.

I have, at last, escaped it all,
I think I've made it through,
I've managed to avoid it all,
my bridge, you know, was you.

And so the time has come to leave
my windowpane at last,
snowflakes are whitening my sleeve
and I've left you in my past....
