Undaunted Fairness Ii
Pain lies low  in father's plain laugh;
Wearying bloody veins on our behalf....

A Boy can do everything for golf, his initial joy, kooky lies, many new options, putting quirks,
rain, snow, tough upsets, very wearying extreams, youth zeal.

Too many words..

Seems the condition

Of users of words..

Words qualifying words

Qualifying and confusing..

Wearying to the one

Seeking diligently to

End seeking..as the ending

Is hidden by words......

The Journey
What trail do you take
When there is time to contemplate
The ups and downs to share
Even in times of despair

And the wearying journey made
Has each its own escapade
Hold up a righteous torch on high
Know that justice and truth will not die.

Premium Member We Leave Em Here
Listen to poem:
These vast expanses and love for luxuries,
The dint and dainties ever luring,
The beams that bend our narrow necks,
The cares compelling all to the gate,
Our wars and wearying ways for filths
The ego fanning fist for fights,
And these for vain we vaunt and vent.
We wane in time, and leave em’ here....

Premium Member SILENT SOULS WANDERING
Today is as quiet
As a crowded graveyard
Empty of life:-
Yet, the green of nature,
Shines in springing glory:-

As a brief breeze
Warmly passes by,
Silence retains its control
And all remains calm:-

Yes, life’s reality
Has its blissful moments;
Leaving wearying chaos asunder
As God caresses
Silent wandering souls:-

The Shrinking Season
The Shrinking Season
by Michael R. Burch

With every wearying year
the weight of the winter grows
and while the schoolgirl outgrows
her clothes,
the widow disappears
in hers.

A Word For the Wise
A word for the wise I wield awhile
Whether the weather whacks or whoops
Walk with the Word and not with the world
Wield your weapons of warfare and
Walk off your worries and weights
To walk this wearying widespread way

Watch your wears off wretched wrongs
Wave away warped wantonness and worthless wiles
In a while with wings way off from this wilderness
We will wake without end in white
With the worthy ones in worship...

Dress For It
Reflection of fire in a window
representing comfort,
the visceral satisfaction of flame
and warmth of double hung insulation.

The natural world is there for us
or we can live in the house,
it’s nice to have both
each a refuge from the other.

Central heat and music
or watching clouds and feeling rain,
listening to birds
with wind in our face.

Wearying of either
come in or go out.
The last place we live is in the spirit.
How do you dress for that?...

Premium Member picking up the pieces
you can't turn me on and off
like a lightswitch
i don't work that way
you're hot you're cold

you're unpredictable
it's wearying to live in limbo
i'm the elastic that's been stretched
till it can give no more

my compass has lost its north
i no longer know what i feel
if anything at all
i'm the candle without a wick

i'm spent and empty
hollow and fake
i smile but my eyes don't lie
the eyes never lie

Premium Member Remember the Sabbath Day To Keep It Holy
Now it's time, a special time, the highlight of the week
Time to say goodbye to cares, to worries and concerns
To shut the door on wearying labor, be it mighty or be it meek

Time to welcome the Sabbath's radiance, the Queen in all her splendor
To sing, to dance, to chant the prayers with our families and our friends --
Or else admit we lack the faith to joyously -- to lovingly -- implement
The sacret trust of God Almighty's fourth commandment...
