Without one, I'm lost
Troublemaker and savior
Mine, sincerely yours
Carrying you day and night,
Rest assured it won't wear out
I don’t know how many times I have to tell you—
My womanhood isn’t going to wear out.
Because if it could—
You would have worn it out already.
Love's like a scratched record
that plays over and over again
When you can feel the needle wear out
and you wait for it to end
And it does-
When you walk away years later
Quatrain #47:
POISE
Start now and here with heart and mind,
End with good cheer as wit funds find;
Reach surge of cheer as moments greet,
Wear out that fear in empty signs.

Unadulterated and pure
the thoughts left my mind
Untrained and unschooled
no restrictions to bind
The page below virgin
as I wear out my pen
A literary wanderer
—starting over again
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2015)
our bodies wear out time and again,
but we return to the earthly plane,
our lover friends return they do,,
we meet again fore life is through,
on this you can depend,
magnetic attractions too,
and pre-written is the when......

visit your neighbors
often you’ll wear out welcome
telling lies unwise
~
metaphoric yet
as so harmful as hitting
them with an ax,---chop
~
chop, chop, chop, chop, chop
wounding them spoken mouth as
swords kills with arrow

Rectangular in shape as a deep shoebox,
where leather boots lied on long shelves.
I fell in love with their tempting softness;
I am wearing them and friends love them,
ladies adore them and shamelessly wink!
I consider myself as lucky as a rich man;
my boots will wear out, nobody will smile:
when they'll see a sad, worthless beggar!
Why does the warmth of love wear out over time
What happens that the heart and brain grow cold
The heart and mind worn out so damaged
Unhappiness flows like a light stream
Ongoing heaviness evolves into sadness
Unexpected attacks of anger
Declarations of denial
Nothing changed or undone
It all stays fixed and stuck
Dreary in a lonely land
A bunch of socks without their mates
Are nestled in my drawer.
You’d think I wouldn’t save them
Since they’re no good anymore.
But lately, when I’m choosing clothes
To wear out on the street,
I realize not a soul will notice
What is on my feet.
Of course, this was the case before
The virus, but today,
With mask and hat, nobody
Could ID me anyway.
They did something in the late eighties that was bad.
They stopped selling records and that made me mad.
I'm upset because I can no longer buy records in the stores.
They still make a few records but nothing like they did before.
Compact discs replaced records because they sound better and don't wear out
like records do.
But I wish that I could still buy records too.

We are the Fonzie cats, we are slick and cool.
We sneak food from restaurants, we sneak out of school.
We are all of that, the dog’s bowwow and the cat’s meow.
When you hear a ruckus, we are on the prowl!
We are Fonzie Cats, don’t wear out our name.
You can give us respect; the alley is fair game.
We sneak around at night, we are out of sight.
We are the Fonzie Cats, and we know where it’s at!
So we’ll go no more a bowling
So late into this night
Though our arms be still as willing
And the lanes be still as bright,
For balls wear out the fingers
And arthritis shows its might,
While the back pains all linger
And knees need rest’s respite.
Though the night is made for bowling
And the lanes close far too soon,
Yet we’ll go no more a rolling,
Until the clock strikes noon.
Make the impossible into improbable
and give it a try
Who knows like the Wright brothers
you may even fly.
Take a no to maybe with a chance
for a yes
Turn won't to could and will will
come to pass.
Feed dreams with goals and watch
wishes come true
Test don't by oops already did
and see all that you can do.
Wear out never by shouldn't
than perhaps sneak it by
For nothing will begat nothing
if you never even try.
"Decomposed By The So Called True" (11409)
I have lost the fight, with I no longer in the win
defeat is only a push away
break me into many alone pieces, to shrewd the some of me into
none
washed in blood's open weakness, no tears should be in the colors of
red
wonder not, the rot of me, deterioration is but a lie of many unjust beings
who were (wear) out the weakened with the not true and believable lies~

White tops invite
an old man's story in for
ear's listen. The shade
creeps up behind the
elders' circle's edge
of lawn chairs,
inducingly pushing
the men
to sleep.
Beer
nudges the wrinkles
and wear out of their
tired eyes, and lifts their
shoulders, curves their backs, and switches
their postures in to hear
the muffled grunts heave in and out
of Old Pa's speech.
Mam screamed at me,
while Grandpa
fell off his chair
And I fell off my feet, after that ball
was thrown at my head.
For most of the people I know,
Our ages are starting to show
And since eyes, hips and knees
Don’t come with warranties,
To replace them’s the best way to go.
Thus, for cataracts or the main joints,
Pain or blurriness usually points
To a doctor who will
Send a Medicare bill
When a new lens or bone he anoints.
Just like houses and care, things wear out
And it isn’t enough just to pout.
Let the surgeon repair
What needs fixing, so there
Will be years left to gambol about.
