Death From Above
Amber warning a red light dawning,
the clouds on this day-break are
seemingly turning into a angry mist.
I dare not look into the abyss. For I
hear the cries from above, too late!
I'm captured by a now crimson sky....

Premium Member A Poem
A poem can be a gift left on the kitchen table or on your desk
It can be rhymed or simple like a light letter.
A poem can be a warning a whisper
Or really a gentle deep song
Why it can be just what you need below A RAIN CLOUD OR IN the Shimmering SUNSHINE...

Tina was a prostitute
          a lady of the night
By day she whiled the hours away
          staying out of sight

        Though she had repeat business
          she earned no royalties
for bending over at the waist
~ or sinking to her knees...

A Dire Warning: a Journey's End
A big turd's journey nears it's end.
On the sheets it shalt not descend.

Now heed the warning I have said.
Please do not poop on the bed.

I know the pressure seems great.
And your bowel's contents nears its final fate...

but I must ask you to keep this in your head.
No matter what, do not poop on the bed!...

Robin
Here
A
Little
Robin sings.
His joyful piping
Brings happiness to human ears,
His fiery redbreast glowing like a foundry furnace.

But
We
Humans
Misconstrue
His soliloquy.
No harbinger of Spring is he,
Unique amongst our garden birds, he sings all year round.

He
Sings
Not for
Happiness
Nor joy of Nature –
He’s driven by a primal urge,
His song, a warning, a territorial battle cry....

Premium Member Danger Expose
Cobalt blue clouds cover the sun
Magenta sun rising
Fog slips between dark green foliage
A red sunrise springing

A warning~ a storm is brewing
Danger in the storm's wake
The stillness with roosters crowing
Seems simplicity's take

Maybe not simplicity at all
Possibly dangers there
Waiting in the thick undergrowth
In a place that seems fair

Deep, deep red sun on the horizon
Just a portion now shows
An angry red war waging
What next will danger expose

Unfinished...
