Café au lait and croissant.
Dreamy visions of Paris by the Seine.
I close my wanderlust eyes.

You Updated

Perfect teeth, your lips that are always blessing,
Wanderlust that always stops short of leaving
Moss-green eyes that always spin sparkling myst’ries
Once were my treasures

Windmills of wanderlust

A Wanderlust Cerebral

A Wanderlust Cerebral
A circuit 'round a star

Home of the "Ever Homeless"
Whom else could care to own less

A course that's never ended
of spirit-bliss unbarred

Percolated Cuppa Fancy

early morn' espresso sanity
more than clouds in my caffè,
musings' sugared cuppa fancy
atop frothy dreamt wanderlust
& places to visit, people to read,
percolating poetic joie de vivre

Observations

Nature Wakes
Earth turns
Each day dawns anew
Memories enhance views

Time
Inexorably weathers and wethers
 Why wonders
When nears
Where changes wanderlust
Satisfaction soothes
Together triumphs

Beyond the sand dunes the ocean lies
framed by lush Ammophila grass;
Soft breeze caressing your skin
harnesses you for life;
Pooling a deep love
for what’s boundless;
Wanderlust
enthralls
you.

Westward wanderlust,
Wagon waltzes with Winter wine,
White watercolor walleye, windy-wallop.

Wading where wafers wage war,
Where warmth wanes without warning.
Wary whispers; weather will weather, whatnot.

Belong

A wanderlust that doth unfold
of tales heard
of tales told
of yonder there when i was old
to ye
to see
to be in awe for ever more
to rest rest thy bones upon a shore
and whisper in the wind
that i am home

Wanderlust

The ties of time and tide bestride
the man who leads a life confined
by clock and compass.
He who treasures earthly pleasures
worldly-wide has a better measure of his soul
than time or tide could e'er provide.

One More Face In Rat Race

Not knowing why
We still join rat race,
In wanderlust
We add one more face,
Post many births
Gained we’d a good house,
Left it foul oh
With our wicked grace!

Zoning Out

Wanderlust could find my
eternal love.
In the deep blue sky,
stars of the mystery land entered
my dusky eyes...
Zoning out into the blank space
-the greatest black hole;
could be my path
"to the parallel universe."

Wanderlust

It seems forever, you've been gone
I lay alone and ponder;
does absence truly make
the heart, inevitably fonder?

Yet here I wait in loneliness
as you are way off yonder,
pursuing that which makes
your heart, inevitably wander

Yesterday

I often feel a wanderlust,
Within my soul today,
To wander, wild and fancy free,
As in that bygone age,
When home and friends,
And bed and board
Were where I chanced to be--
When I was bubbling full of life,
And life was full of me.

Alleyways of Stone

A highway of regret…
  an avenue of denial

A boulevard of hopes and dreams
  where footsteps have defiled

A thoroughfare of wanton time
each choice a dead end road

In fated plundered wanderlust
  —dark alleyways of stone

Premium Member Wanderlust With a Mission

She was born with wings
Hiking boots and inklings
Urges to run out and explore
She just couldn't ignore
The gnawing curiosity
That grew with ferocity
A tomboy with *****
Uncovering stories to debunk
Wanderlust with a mission
Of the noblest ambition
