A splendid actor was the late Walter Brennan.
There were so many movies and television shows he was in.
One of his characters I would particularly enjoy:
That was when he played grandpa Amos McCoy.
My name is Walter Frankenstein.
You might know Victor, my famous brother.
He was born under different sign,
though we came from the same mother.
I told him so many times before,
he should've stayed with the family store.
The Blues fills my memory,
all emptiness gone
Its Harp laying claim,
my soul to belong

The Grand Circus Of Life

Welcome to the greatest show
no cords, no nets below
your life is at stake
don't make it a mistake
below the tightrope, failure stares
don't stumble, yet nobody cares
about you in this circus
to succeed, don't be nervous
don't fail, rely on sureness,
luck will smile on us.
On Sundays Walter gives Pastor Joe
magazines to read along with
comments on his sermons.
The pastor loves the magazines
but Walter is leaving for another city
so no more magazines for Pastor Joe
and no more comments about his sermons.
Pastor Joe will miss Walter's magazines
but he won’t miss Sundays with Walter.
