Wish I Could Tape My Mouth Shut

Wish I could tape my mouth shut
To keep myself from spreading
This part of me
Into the world
But my lips are stronger than that
I’d break that seam
With my verbal abuse
And spit fire at humanity

Storms

he is like the weather, inconsistent and unpredictable.
and we're like meteorologists,
always trying to predict when the rain will come and go.
but the truth is we don't know.
sometimes there's not a cloud in the sky yet the rain still falls.

Smile the Solution

words are just like stones
if thrown they hurt too
not all words are bad
and stones have good use
it’s how we use them

words yelled and screamed
verbal abuse
is damaging
causing some harm

try kindness
with a smile
it will work

laughter
brings peace

War of Words

Wrestling with his conscience
Abstaining from verbal exchange
Regretting his words

Offended by obscenities
Forgetting his ticket

What is happening now?
Obnoxious little men
Rallying in no mans land
Dire Consequences
Spasmodic verbal abuse.

Primitive Weapon

Roses are red
violets are blue
Your mouth is rubber
My feelings are glue
Why must you hate
I haven't a clue
Your narcissistic
Negative mind
Affects us too
Every time
Soon you'll find
Yourself alone
But before I go
I've got one more poem
Sticks and stones
May break my bones
But your words really f****** hurt

To Let Go

How hard is the letting go when it’s all you know
Shadows under ice
   One
      Wrong
          Step
Cracks become fissures to fall through
Shadow black eyes
     No
        Sleep
          Tonight
Dark steps pacing in the shadow-land
Despair a choke-hold
    Run
       Let
           Go

The Flow of Words

the flow of words, connected like a divine line
captivated from verbs that bonds the sentence!
trapped with conjunction and verbal abuse.
no run ones
just the stoppage of periods
no questions
just the compound of literary terms folded together as one vivid chained of structure,
that bolts itself to make the sentence complete.

Premium Member Verbal Abuse

from the time you wake
he gnaws at you
about anything and everything
his voice drills into you like nails
every day the same record plays
always the same voice
telling you how you hate him
telling you how the house is a mess
the kids won't listen
same argument every day
until you start to believe
that you're the one who's wrong

Boneless tongue
Breaking heart
Like a drum
Beating starts
Curses curled
Painting pain
Verses hurled
All in vain
Name calling
Verbs abused
Heart falling
Words used
Start with N
End with grin
Worse shaming
To offend
Soul of gold
Blackened skin
Be so bold
To defend
Words absurd
Can’t break in
God’s true herd
Despite sin

Premium Member Nasty people

With named trainers and designer clothes
judging people and looking down your nose

Pointing and laughing treating people like dirt
not really caring about the people hurt

With verbal abuse you will attack
while stabbing your friends in the back

Nasty text messages from your mobile phone
BUT YOU WILL REGRET IT WHEN YOU ARE ALL ALONE.

Any Excuse

Any excuse to have a go
At you I will use it, I am
The good guy (despite using
Verbal abuse), and you are
The bad guy; as I remember
That time you made a mistake,
Baddie, baddie, baddie,
My anger is not fake;

You move that chair
You put steak in the freezer
You use air
You are not a believer
You are you

And that, is the problem.

Premium Member You Are Not a Valentine

As if you care
Serial killer of the spirit
Finder of fault
Happily dissatisfied

Microscopic examiner
Master of cruel detachment
Offering negative affection
Player of head games

Restless prowler
Spreading unhappiness
Stalker
User of verbal abuse

Wrecker of relationships
You have become transparent.
The game is ended.
You are not a Valentine.

Online Witch

She flies on her broomstick and enters cables and wires,
She hunts down the pure of heart and never tires,
We see her pointy black hat on her wicked head,
As we live a life online with fear and such dread.

Casting her spells of verbal abuse with fervor and joy,
Her coven sits around a cauldron with their evil ploy,
We gather our sage to burn them away with fire and light,
As we prepare to make a stand and put up a good fight.

Hey! Yonder, bully those sticks, those stones, scars, bruises may brake my skin and bones;
And the bullying and the verbal abuse do completely hone; me into rejection ; Regression Depression Pain and anger Anixiety fear I run from there And in my reality And in my dreams Even with all that I forgive As I openly rebuke thee For I pray for thee often you see

With verbal abuse you will attack
Never to their face but behind their back.

Nasty text messages to their mobile phone.
Isolating them so they feel alone.

When you get challenged about the things you have done
You just laugh in their face and say because it’s fun.
