Premium Member The Little Boy In You

I see him in your eyes
that youthful innocence
words not spoken
a need a craving

unsatiated
appetite
wanting arms
to hold you
reassuring
that you are safe

heart goes over moon
indelible crescendo
the 'Snow Frolic' notes.

a joy of freedom
Only lover and the loved
haunting melody.

unsatiated
wanting to soak ever more
till eternity.

Autumn Leaves

Arrhythmic currents flow through trunk
Undulating frothy waves crest bough
Trickling nutrients in warm cavity bunk
Unsatiated leaves wipe sappy brow
Melange of colors sugary tears endow
Nascent blades a new surface do plow

flowing together
  licking dew drops
     exchanging warmth
         melting into jelly, yet
            unsatiated we remain.
        hurtling down slopes
     into a secret valley
  rushing to unite,
slip, gush, hold tight.
Negotiating riverine
   meandering curves
    union becomes serene
          before surrender, into
              an ocean, of ecstatic joy.

Wolf

I'm starving while the world around me

Is overflowing in poetry

I find it funny that I could feed upon

The heaps of unread stories

And still find myself being fed less and less

By the authors who throw away their voices

Like scraps that are better wasted for a nightstand,

Bought in a place unsatiated to their lust in being known,

so I write another poem

and I starve, like a wolf,

Oh how I starve.
