The Little Boy In You

I see him in your eyes
that youthful innocence
words not spoken
a need a craving

unsatiated
appetite
wanting arms
to hold you
reassuring
that you are safe

I see the little boy in my husband all the time. Especially now that I have shingles and he is so afraid he is not helping me enough, and feels badly he cannot make the pain stop. I see it in his eyes, as he sees the little girl in mine. Well done. Bravo Line!

That's beautiful when it's a sign of love and trust, Caren.
