The Garden In the Backyard
IT is the ink of tears
that enchants me
each drip a tear
guarding my soul.
Whether tears or dreams
come each has its own Soul.
It is all my reason & unreasoning
like the dove and butterfly
like the tender hair that
hides a scar while the body
sleeps.

IMAGE VIOLENCE

An unreasoning factor
In that image and
A shot still ringing!

Lines of people running
Walking
Shouting!

An image in space
Given lasting life

An image
With lines from the past
Giving added color charging!

Diamanté poem

                      Passion
                 Fierce, intense,
       Compelling, flaming, promising,
Fondness, lust, madness, foolishness,
      Unreasoning, attracting, longing,
            Extravagant, temporary,
                      Infatuation

tempting unwary flies.
Spiders hang like ornaments,
tasting blood before it dries.

Many legs caress the thread,
immune to all that's sticky.
In the world of human beings,
a spider's life is icky.

Spun web is sacrificed
to a mortal's unreasoning fear.
The lifespan of a spider
shortens when a human is near.

Cocoons of unborn eggs
lay hidden in plain sight.
The turning of the seasons
renews the never ending fight....
