Surprise
Unpredictability
An arising newness
Without connection
Appearances seemingly
Buoyed as nothing...
Underestimation, unpredictability
My cannon hauls the weight of the world
In your direction
And your dodging capabilities are neglecting to serve you

dark places find me
as a result of myself
dark places bind me
i give them all the wealth
dark places grind me
the unpredictability stirs my stealth
dark places remind me
modern stressful times are really effecting my health
We start another brand new year
Another chance of opportunities
Time to build on your craft
As you continue on your destiny
No one knows what will happen
That is the unpredictability of life
We rise and shine
Through all of the corruption and strife
We as people teach ourselves everyday
Situations come about unexpectedly
One never knows what will happen
There is such unpredictability
Through all of the madness
There is joy, sadness, victory, and pain
These emotions that appear accordingly
Help to put us in the proper path to rise again

Today I’m thankful for the unpredictability of destiny…
You see, I’m not sure how much I partake…
in determining all my opportunities…
in all the choices that I make.
For instance:
Was it my choice to write this poem…
or has destiny decreed it?
and was it your choice
or was it Destiny…
when you sat down to read it?
Is she dancing in your head like stars that twinkle in your eyes
Making false memories of a once short time
I question are you thinking of her while you stare into my eyes.
Do you wish I was her lying next to you.
Is her unpredictability enticing to you?
Does her persistence draw you closer to her.
Or is this all dancing in my head and she's not a thought any more.
I still think of that day,
rain pitter-pattered gently around us,
clouds were the color of gravel.
Your smile broke through shadows,
and our laughter mingled like gold.
Paint splattered against a canvas-
that's what we were.
Unpredictability. Chaos. Adoration.
Does any of it make sense?
Does it not make you want to crawl out of your skin and sink into the what if?
When Lightning Struck
Unpredictability
Of life and the world, intuition
A primal source, nature’s le coup de foudre
Luminous beamscape reveals itself, kaleidoscopic
When lightning struck. I began to quiver
Optical tilt, a bolt captured
Spiritual enlightenment
A divine rapture
One gigajoule
Energized

Azure
gigajoule—pronounced ‘ul
le coup de foudre—bad weather
soft roses, held in bloodless fingers,
bleed a scented redness
caressed by lusts ache
masquerading as a gentle touch
each petal a charade
a “loves me – loves me not”
catharsis of collusion
covering its tracks
heart shaped
convenience store memories
withering dreams
melting on the dashboard
the groundhog smiles
its shadowless reflection
reveling in winters
unpredictability

mind under control
here i sit not giving a sh-t
(t-rump'd this morning : )
trying to describe unpredictability
randomness...irrationality
the real and or the imaginary
the stuff of life
central nervous system and mind
logics matrix of mathematical digits
the balance is real
dimensions....constants
context...content
fractal scales
reality frequencies
(visited an old fishing spot today : )

March…you melancholy madman
Lion or Lamb….
sibling rivalry’s unpredictability
bending the trees in bowed submission
coaxing investment in your budding scheme
draping the hope of warmth under falling snow
muddying the future with drenching rains
lying to the nesting Robins
howling at an ice blue moon
dancing among the Jonquils
Lion or Lamb
Mother Nature’s siblings
taunting each other.

I think the rain has to be my muse.
Sheets of unbent rain does fall.
Threads of silver drifting down,
Flowing through my pen effectively
To quench my poetic thirst through verse
Impressive an unpredictable, it is,
Just like Mother Nature's moods.
It's so romantic and enlightening,
Or so raw and dramatic in it's fury.
The only thing predictable
Is the unpredictability of it's swarths.

For Francine Roberts's contest, 'Rain Rain Rain'
Awareness is everything
But, we must be willing to open our eyes
For they do not see everything
Moments often catch us by surprise
The unpredictability of life
Often puts us in this position
So thought provoking
Nothing but an inquisition
The fickleness of life
Often takes our breath away
Confusion and frustration
Makes its appearance each day
When we lack awareness
It can lead to total chaos
Filled with bewilderment
Some of us may appear to be lost
