Always feeling so unneeded, so underappreciated.
But for once she is feeling as though she is utmost defeated.
Still feeling unspent on anything requiring effort....

Love is overrated,
no doubt it's unneeded.
All you get from it is fight, hatred, and hurt.
It may be all fun and games in the beginning,
but in the end,
no one wins, and hearts are broken....

Sounds, never before heard, shout deep within my heart and soul, as ears go unneeded, and the arrested atmosphere surrounding me bathes in utter silence.

When We Were Young
When we were young
futures unborn
eyes held starry nights hostage until morn
Love had yet broke
truth came unarmed
and hope was unneeded
I dangle my feet from the edge i once leapt from
and dreams are all but done
When we were young...

I mean think about it:
Does God care about praise?
No.
We shouldn't either.
Do your good works,
Then watch a Marx Brothers movie.
Stop your search for unneeded miracles.
The miracle already occurred.
We're still getting acclimating....

Junk
mountain of things we throw
unneeded items stacked in drawers
rotten meat , fermented food
we eat junk and then junk eats us
heaps of trash, that's our treasure
rusted cars will soon be a wreckage
Oh! Let's bring new junk, get rid of the old...

the braising tomorrow
gathered beneath me
upon a silent glare
sounded by great wealth
unwanted unneeded borrowed
from yesterday oh how I gazed
above ground whimpering
a solid tear formed from a nesting
fear an empty sigh where love
loomed about God's own
galleries of hidden faith...

A Better Place
in a better place now
never have been better
now can be what i couldn't
be with you around bringing
me down
up and left me
ran away from me
though that it was
a bad thing but now
i see that it was the
best thing that has ever
happened to me
now without your
unneeded drama
i am free to be me...

To Ilse
She made beauty a birthright, my Ilse.
Her rosy cheeks, rouge unneeded,
shadowed her dark eyes.

I was impressed by her,
depraved by her,
all at once humiliated for her.
A hunger lingered inside me,
craving her name.

Still my salvation was denied by time
and the fleeting hours turned me mad.
Her finitude, my hellfire.
My temptation....

A dream
Dreaming of color
Burned it in my mind
But then I wake up,
My hands stained raven

Looking at you now, yes you
Am I unneeded?
Am I just in the way too?

When I close my eyes,
I see a phantom,
of what I of what I could be

I can't see the simple things I'm meant to keep,
What am I supposed to be?
Forever alone and stuck

I can't escape this everlasting rain...

Just Friends
you're so cool
and so funny
I won't ask for more
not even money

you make me feel great
you make me feel like someone
when you don't come to school
I feel unneeded and alone

you let me feel happy
and let me be myself
I can't believe it
you're like no one else

you're the reason my heart pounds
and why the world spins
but their is no us
because we're just friends...

Shocked Heart
I forgot that the heart beats.
I've been robotic.
Thought is unneeded.
Emotions are useless.
But a sudden shock to the system,
Reminds me...
My heart beats.
It was easy,
I've been busy,
Then the news came,
I am alive again.
Apart of me wishes I wasn't.
Knowing that someone I loved passed,
I wish,
I stayed robotic.
That news made me feel again.
I've become aware of my heart.
My system is shocked....

Ugly Face

The law,
says leave no trace,

but the eyes.
a hateful rag,
that smells;
of unclean things,
of sour food,
and drink,
of his taste,
and his smell,
when he is…
done.

Cover yourself.
cover everything…
about you.
repulsion,
resounds in the image,
of reflection,
uncivilized.

Cutting parts away,
unneeded items,
lust not love,
slavery.

What
do you
feel?

Do
you
feel?...

Unneeded Weapon
A samurai knows when to take off his armor..
That is when there is more honor to be won from the battle he fights..
I've taken off my armor..
It now hangs on my wall..
I bow in respect to it everyday; for it has witnessed many battles and has
withstood many blows..
I put down my Katana*..
It is back in its Saya*..
A weapon no longer needed..
For a warrior long defeated..

*Katana: A Japanese sword
*Saya: A katana's sheath...

Oath
Down hallways dark
Of echoing stone
Pasting unseen doors
All closed on this night
Eyes are covered
Unneeded now
Trusting those
Who lead the way
Echoes felt
Tell of the path
Where we are
And where we’re bound
Long hours worked for now
Weeks of studies now done
Tested on this night
To prove our worth
Or to fail on this day
Now enter in a great hall
Now see by candlelight
Sword now offered
We must draw
An oath we must swear...

Why Buy
I know someone who buys books.
I also know where else he looks.
The books he buys remain closed.
The stuff he gets is hardly used.
A book is there for us to read.
We buy the stuff we badly need.
A closed book does him no good.
Unneeded things just follow suit.
Never buy a book to keep it shut.
You learn no tales and lose a lot.
Many buy things they never need.
They boast about the life they lead.
They think they are so very cool!
It is themselves they really fool!
