Portly Explosion
A portly old man from Spain,
Let his belt out to relieve the strain,
But his pants button exploded
Like a missile unloaded
So far that it brought down rain....

Baptism of Ducks
BAPTISM OF DUCKS
Waves shake little boat, smug ducks out at sea.
They sing drinking songs, rambunctious with glee.
Rising waves, quicker,
with more downed liquor.
Unloaded ducks drink. The waves set them free.

Unhindered Movement
On the other side,
Beyond this view,
We're chauffeured unhindered,
Light and unsaddled,
Unloaded and unrestrained,
We're not framed for this side only.

A Terrorist Strikes
As the local transit bus stopped and unloaded
Seconds after, a powerful bomb exploded.
We knew that terrorists had struck again,
Causing mistrust and fear, to everyone’s chagrin
Nearby a ten-story apartment house imploded.

Target It-
Target it
Hush is calling
Twilight seeing stars
Shooting loaded finger guns
Unloaded and ammunition gone
Target it
Bunion feet on the run far
Silent lips not moving
Eyelids filled with star, why?
Blinking stop lights blinking eyes
Target it

Hectic Mind
Hectic Mind
Like a weekend
no end
hectic like a busy-business road
up and down
caotic
loaded mind like a full dust bin
hardly unloaded
slow motion
rules the emotion
struggle
hustle
like a mother-bird
food, providing for the little crying kids
busy
is the mind
restlessness dominates
stress rules.

Narrative
I Am a Man-
This mountain I chose to climb
This moment In Time I choose to unwind
This valley I walk I choose to walk I'm running
This land I'm on this borrowed sand
I am part of it I am molded clay
As I live and breathe I inhaled an exhale
What's God's givin me for I am the land
embedded in me spirit so I unloaded I am man

Pink Ribbons
She stared long
At pink ribbons
The perfect match
Of pink dress
I wore then
Someone my age
In tattered clothes
Outside the temple
I unloaded plaits
And handed her
My pink ribbons
My parents smiled
Seeing my act
I had known
I was right

In the Beginning
In The Beginning
Written: by Tom Wright
8-22-2016
No play script, but only unloaded pages,
But immediately the pages began to fill.
Instead of chapters, life became stages,
Each stage lived according to my free will.
At one stage, by emptiness, I was consumed,
Troubled, I realized a deficiency in my life.
Without Jesus, my soul would be doomed,
And I’d face perpetual fire in the afterlife.
