Life today a silent game of Russian Roullette
Masked, gloved, unarmed a trip to a public
Place a sneeze, a cough, a bit of smegma
And Covid19 silently end all to Life.
jangling nerves... tense, taut...
darting to and fro… caught... trapped
whimpering feebly...
The brave gunman licks his lips...
duck soup... easy prey... unarmed
dark letters in
the book of secrets
revealed ostensibly
rain of fears on
the field of unarmed
masses disturbingly
the last train leaves to
the white of the dawn
we are strangers here
Form:
Gladiator games
Fuel flames excitement fame
Amour amour passions flare
My love games compete
Up high in poor seats watching
Soft spot unarmed slowly dies

In Ivory Coast
You don’t walk
Outside unarmed
Without your hands up
May be
You will not be shot that way
By a sniper
But snipers have their own way of thinking
About your life
Not everyone has a right
To a long happy life
Form:
When we were young
futures unborn
eyes held starry nights hostage until morn
Love had yet broke
truth came unarmed
and hope was unneeded
I dangle my feet from the edge i once leapt from
and dreams are all but done
When we were young
i cannot touch your silence.
you are in a darkness
only you can know.
for there are battles
only you can fight,
unarmed,
unarmored.
i can only watch by the battleside
mutedly helpless,
hoping i can cheer in triumph
as your banner floats
victoriously by.

medieval soil
never forgotten
by the hikers upon the mountain
there is a chance to hear a voice
coming from the back of your head
footsteps left on the muddy ground
imprinted by each stone of your flesh
harsh words
like a summer light
turned into unarmed reflections
naked like you
HEART SINKS, EYES WEEP
BRAIN EXPLODES, CAN’T SLEEP
DON’T UNDERSTAND, I NEVER WILL
SWEET CHILDREN WHY DO THE COPS KILL?
CHILDREN WITH DARK SKIN
HARDLY LET THEIR LIVES BEGIN
INNOCENT, UNARMED, SIXTEEN AND UNDER
COPS CALL IT A BLUNDER
MISTAKE THEY SAY
CHILDREN BEATEN OR SHOT TO DEATH IN USA
I never thought
that it could be:
a mark by hand
of such perfect symmetry.
I stared in awe;
my jaw dropped open.
My eyes turned off;
my brain was broken.
On paths of gold
she trod, unharmed.
Straight paths of gold.
I trod unarmed
toward gray-green grounds
of jealousy.
I lust forever
after symmetry.
Husband, brother, son,
lover, friend -
Will we see you again?
Will you be a headline on the news?
Unarmed and unashamed.
We stand fearful and furious
in tear soaked silent pleas.
Something must change.
His skin won't warrant death,
and our hearts won't continue to pay
the inexcusable cost
of love in America.
Unarmed
If you keep a man unarmed
He will be pretty unharmed!
Precautions or measures
Work but increase seizures.
When mankind was unwrapped
Humankind was not raped;
When nudity filled the kingdom
There was no peeping Tom!
Should you lock an empty box
Inside, find some burglar fox!

Uncharted
You trickled your way into the fold of my heart
and every day went deeper since
toeing through uncharted waters
nosing to my core.
You’ve brought light to the darkest part of me
the sun have never seen,
with no more than an unarmed smile
you explore my tempestuous waters
unabashed;
uncovering a little piece of me
each time more.
Once the strong, confident woman
She now struggles to remember the battles
Battles fought and won
The triumphant joy
How foolish
Believing
Hoping
Now afraid, weak and lonely
Beyond emptiness
Complete and utter starvation
Sad, unforgiving, unkind
Filled with betrayal
Unarmed for battle
Alone
Share the wisdom of her pain
Don’t waste it
You can behead an unarmed man
You can rape a defenseless woman
You can blow up an innocent child
You can burn a book, or 1000's
Attempt to erase history
Spit on the culture of mankind
Here is what you will never do
You will never catch Charlie Brown
Or behead Allah the almighty
You are an army
Of no hearts
Of no heads
The army of the evil living dead
Some choose to wear a soldier’s camouflage
And take their country’s coin
all to defend a Politian’s ideology
While ordinary civilians die
Sisters without brothers
Mothers without sons
Children sent to foster homes
If the bombs have left them homes unarmed
Your deity will not help or take the pain away
His mortal representative will just stand over your grave and pray
Fame?
how can you claim?
when you lack an aim!
no aim means no name.
As streets without names,
indescribable to a damsel,
so your work becomes endless,
when at work you're aimless.
Even a lame with an aim,
quickly came and earned a name,
while many were maimed,
for daring life unarmed!
They thought of claiming fame,
but life got them tamed,
for not living with an aim,
in their struggle for fame!
Neither here nor there
The mind stuck in time
Floating through
Drifting
Reaching
Stretching to touch
Unarmed
Vulnerable
Exposed
Yet I am the only one that can see and feel
Flashes of a glimpse
Trapped in a vision
A million or more of emotions
Feelings rush to change
But I don’t want to.

“What is there to say? They are my friends. I would do it again, over and over — for I hate cruelty and intolerance.” Oskar Schlinder
LOST IN A SEA OF WAR
daringly intrepid,
dazzlingly, dizzily
protecting the poor,
the unarmed, the kids,
those lost in a sea
of war — Schindler
and his musical score,
outscoring the hate
that seemingly won’t abate
but for God steps into
the shoes of man

The knife was in my hand, I know,
I felt the blade against my thigh.
I thought the steel would cut you off,
I thought that I was being kind.
The knife was in my hand, I thought,
I thought that I should sever ties.
But strong and steel and should got lost,
When all that I could do was cry.
The knife was in my hand no more,
I found the blade inside my mouth.
I felt it stealing to yours,
And now we're both unarmed, without.
I can’t breathe
Don't you hear the pleas?
I cant breath
We still aren't free,
I can’t breathe
society judged by skin pigmentation.
I can’t breathe
What’s wrong with our nation?
I can’t breathe
Don't you hear his pleas?
I cant breathe
Hatred and discrimination is what we see.
I can’t breathe
We are not equal, we are not free.
I can’t breathe
Unarmed black men and boys being shot down.
I can’t breathe
Injustice in America, injustice all around.
the art of softness
a way of yielding
my face wears a
cunning samurai smile
after we make love
and I press tight
with my thighs
around your waist
my ankles locked
I lie under your chest
with the illusion
I have yielded to
your attack of love
and now I have you
with my jujitsu legs
grappling your heart
and I challenge you
with my eyes
to elude my hold
you offer no fight
only an obliging grin
and a docile glance
and I realize
completely unarmed
you just won
the match
