Down and Out
“Stay away, I can’t afford to be sick.
Hand sanitizer please, and make it quick!
I can’t have the flu,”
I moaned as I puked -
“I’m out of Tylenol, Nyquil, and Vics!”

Without You My
Without you My notebook
has no pages

Without you my bird
sings no song

Without you my book
Has no words

Without you my heart
Has no love

Without you my poem
Has no rhyme

Without you my rose
Has no petals

With out you Tylenol
can not be found in my cabinet

Oops how did that last one get in there...

Time To Take Tylenol
There's tom, turning turgid today. Tenderness to the thought tabulator. Terrible
torture today, take that to tinsel town! Twords turn this turkey to tom's torrid tale
telling true torch tunes. Take two tylenol, turn toothsome televivion teleplay to
tomorrow's tomography, twice told tales tell the truth. Touche'!!
(told ya I iz nutz!)...

Catching the Flu
Catching the flu starts with a sneeze,
a tickle of the throat and a little wheeze.

Your nose will start draining an abundance of mucus.
Hacking and coughing sounds become a nuisance

Fever, chills, your body is infested
Your head and Joints ache so Tylenol is digested

You are now a pariah to the common health.
People that come in contact brace themselves....

Premium Member Instead of 222 Choose
yup two twenty two's
used to take four at one time
next came tylenol

then x y and z
from pharmacies deepest seas
thought i'd tried 'em all

now the cure is advil
in the pocket or aleeve
in my wallets sleeve

headaches just a pain
sometimes yes they're overboard
but sanity gains

through long years that teach
life's like that and i've wondered
"write home!....about what?"

Premium Member The Large Canadian Dollar Coins
Is there an alternative to the large Canadian dollar coins How about peanuts or coffee beans Imagine making a deposite at your bank Of a thousand peanuts or coffee beans at the tellers cage The teller's cage would have to be much larger Or the teller would need some kind of protection device I'm okay really... no really! Perhaps a bunch of Tylenol a few time a day That should do it don't you think?

Liar
I tell lies. They come easily.
Just in conversation they come out.
I don't lie about big things --
I don't want to get caught.
I tailor them to the person I tell them to
just to not have to disagree.
I told an 80 year old woman today
that I prefer Tylenol to Aleve,
but the truth is I can't swallow pills.
Still, the biggest lie is one I tell myself
when your face pops up in my thoughts
I say I'm not thinking of you....

Premium Member All Better Now
My back is screaming
I try not to notice
But I am not doing a great job of it
It has awoken me again.
I try to concentrate on the pain.
If I finally go to the doctor how do I describe it?
It starts at the small of my back and continues to my right side.
It feels like a band that is squeezing me into submission.
My sister tells me to take Tylenol.
I had not thought of that.
Every four hours.
I would have not thought of that either.
It is better now....

Welcome Back To School
It is almost that time,
the summer is disappearing in the skies.
Have to make sure I am able to educate,
teaching writing to the youth is how I elevate.
I have:
my lesson plan book,
a pretty business suit,
2 pens and a pencil,
a cup of coffee in hand,
Welcome Back to school letters,
a dry erase marker,
a pair of slippers (in case the heels hurt),
a pack of Tylenol (better safe than sorry)
and a heart full of standards that will not be lowered!

It is time to teach!!...

Untold Story
Pain killers.
Metaphorical right?
Will they help ease my emotional pain?
The answer is no,
but like hell I tried.

I popped Tylenol like candy,
its a miracle
that I never needed
to get my stomach pumped.

An untold story,
one filled with teardrops
on my kitchen floor.
Each night I'd see just how many,
I could take.
Most nights it was on an empty stomach.

Had I continued this behavior,
It's unlikely I'd be here writing this out,
I'm so glad I didn't continue....
