I caught a quick peek through the Veil
Where angels guide us without fail
I saw my friends
Were bucking trends
Its "human" race Beyond the Pale!
FULL OF FLAWS
We are full of flaws yet
We seek out the ideal in each other
We pander to the trends and styles
That flutter in the wind
Perfection is king
I am so tired of things that are fake;
How much more do I have to take?
Filters and trends strike again
reminding me to abstain,
watered down world give me a break.

I’m not into movements,
I’m not into trends.
I’m not into living my
Life for amends.
All that concerns me
Is being with you,
This much I promise,
I’ll make come true.
Talking about the trends that are new
Inspire my future beyond the new moons
Many long days ahead
Still butter my own bread
And put on my own socks and pantaloons

lines go up and lines go down
going long or short
ticker tape troubles ticker
monitor flatlines near bed

Together they manage all trends.
Tossed by inquisity Joshua broke the law,
Which almost wrought their fall.
But now again they're friends.

Could Be Clairvoyant
It could it be she is clairvoyant
Always knows how much will be spent
And best ways to make many friends
Will always follow latest trends
Touch up her hair using a tint.

Monumental moments are now memories

Never known by noble means
Always assumed to be an alternate
There are current trends that the youngsters
are quick to follow or adopt.
People imitate what's "in"

The Timeless and the Timely are so close and yet so far,
The former scans beyond the Earth and sees the farthest star.
The latter reads the fashions of the fleeting trends today.
Tailoring his poems, fearing what the critics say.
I latest piece is too long the poem section - so it's in "Short Stories."
It's called "trends." I could shorten it - but why? *shrug*
