Sticks and stones won't break my poems
and terms will never use us,
the artist's hope goes it alone,
while others just diffuse us!
Hip and hop won't take my crop
and placard's mentors lose us,
my only truth is still unknown ~
until my lines . . . . transfuse us!

Rhyme
Music is my bliss, happy, alone in my room
I hear the drumbeat, boom boom boom
Hours go by, slip away, one, two, five
Lyrics speak to me, deep, I’m so alive
Hip hop, jazz, rhythm and blues
Music unto me transfuse
The music lives in me, magnificent, sublime
I just want to jump, dance, move in time

in the shadows
primary colours
become gold
pastel patches
transfuse
the translucent
leaves
in colour
and
daubs
all living things
its warmth to bring
each eve
waves its good-bye
this perpetual light
divides day from night,

Imagism
clover me crimson
lover of ebony hue;
transfuse my blues
with caramel and myrrh;
brush the ear of my fantasies
with thy feathery tongue
until it's numb with pleasure,
tingling like the strings
on a violin in overtone
and goosebumps litter my skin
from nappy head
to happy toe
as we sky to heavenly highs
basking in the blissful throes
of love...

Free verse
A glossy warmth is forming
On the meadow.
Shallow morning air
Transfixed thru every eye.
From the memory of the sun’s blood,
Life is transfused.
Bird and fowl
Share a common breath,
Falling into the day.
Where softness stays
This day remains.
Like the feathered touch
Of an old idea,
This place, this time,
Made for bigger hearts
Than mine..
