In the Eye of the Beholder

If it jump starts me
If it shoots deep in my soul
That is great music

Or if it cries out
Or laughs and pierces my soul
That is a poem

a still art

     ..what we see
is what it will be
           for me
             or thee

The Beholder - May He Rest In Peace

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
a wise man once said.

Alas, the beholder of beauty is dead, gone away.
The internet killed him and left him to decay.

Premium Member DAILY GRATITUDE WISDOM OF THE AGES

Today I’m grateful for the wisdom that comes with age…
with understanding each day as I grow a little older…
perfection…
like love…
like beauty…
is in the eye of the beholder.

NELLA’S BLESSING

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder…
what a wonderful world this would be…
if everyone was blessed to behold beauty
in everything and everyone they see.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

That's what they always told her

But the prince is yet to behold her

So she began to loathe her

Life to her is over

No one can console her.

Heard it said, “beauty's in the eye of the beholder” My eyes see much beauty, sometimes lose composure Get all wiggly It's a conspiracy To trap us guys, it easily causes overexposure

.........................?

Seemingly this life is twisted and vacant.

Deserted and barren. Filled with sorrow.

Death, fright, and emotionless faces.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This is my beauty, I am its beholder

Lunatics are people too, although off their bolder Well what's normal, isn't it in the eye of the beholder Lunacy can be fun If not to be overdone I'm a prime example, could be the titleholder

Gorgeous is in the eye of the beholder
I find it in those we call ‘she’
Ruddy, brown, black, pinkish white (where it’s colder)
Large, petite, buxom or wee
She’s beautiful; intrinsically

To the Eye of the Beholder

There is beauty
to dirt and blood
to broken
fingernails
and loneliness
to a wheelbarrow in
rain
and ripe, purple
plums
to the hazy scent of
a life less lived
by a surrendered
book
and a left over
glove.

Proof

The eye of the beholder is in the power of his mind.
The loyalty within his heart is the hardest thing to find.
The truth and passion in his blood that makes his veins burn blue,
Are all the riddles in his head that proves himself to you.

Today’s blessing goes out to anyone
who has ever been made to feel
they are different….
ugly,
unattractive or bizarre.
May you be blessed to remember:
beauty is in the eye of the beholder…
so look in the mirror and BEHOLD
just how beautiful you are.

A Mirror Image

She looks into the mirror and turns away. I can't stand looking at myself, my
beauty has gone away. No it hasn't the mirror image says. Look again at yourself,
You are as beautiful as a warm summer day. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
You only get lovelier as you get older.

Premium Member CHRISTMAS WILL ALWAYS BE MAGICAL

May we be blessed to understand how Christmas
will always be magical in the eye of the beholder….
even when the eye of the beholder
grows a little older

Even when we’re a little wiser…
a little better informed
as to where the magic comes from
and as to how it is performed.

Premium Member were romance in the equation

there's someone for everyone
or so they say
beauty being in the eye of the beholder

when i look at you
i see your unpretentious smile
the amiable twinkle in your eye
the hand you extend to strangers

i hear the kind words you give us all
i feel the warmth of your touch
i see the compassion in your heart

If you married the most beautiful woman in the world,
and she turns out to be a major pain in the butt,
that once beautiful woman will appear ugly to you,
many more times than not.

Beauty is not necessarily so much in the eye of the beholder.
What many consider beautiful, has been imposed upon them by their culture.

Beauty Is In the Eye of the Beholder

Some people say you're black or white
But all i see is a wonderful human being

Some people say you're too skinny or too fat
But all i see is a perfect body

Some people say you have crooked teeth
But all i see is a beautiful smile

Some people say i'm blind not to see all these
But i let them know beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Told beauty is in the eye of the beholder I realize I’m getting uglier as I grow older, My fair skin is now blotched and fine-lined And any beauty increasingly hard to find. Mirrors, constant purveyors of bad news, Only bring solace when I realize, for sure, People who look at me see different views!

Fluid interaction of poise & rhythm spirals float, linear lines, circular shapes, small scale in design.A fascination of freshness, perception personified touches the eye of the beholder.A floating tension betweenweight& lightness create reflections &symbolic sensations within.Abstract and realism combine, tactile in relief along incised lines of beauty where enigma lie.

On The Inside

If beauty is but skin deep, I prevailed upon her to construe, 'Does it lie in the eye of the beholder or, of the two which one is true?' For we can't judge the book by the cover, with but one look, as what's inside truly counts far much more than that. And tho' to me she bemoaned, 'I am big-boned' I've yet to see a skeleton which looks fat.
