Mind Movies
Mind movies in Kodachrome
and vibrant technicolour
set to rewind
Whenever shades of negative
monochrome
dampen the spirit
and plague the mind.

Alone
As time rolls on by
a dream, the same dream
of our life together,
alas always about the memory
as light as a feather
in Technicolour
at one’s tether,
that makes life tough
like a flower of love
alone in an acre of corn.

Listen to your dream
a dream is a wish your heart makes
brought to you in technicolour
it's a longing deep inside
that finds a voice that you will hear
a dream expands your imagination
in inspired ways to alter your reality

Serengeti Sunset
Driving through the Serengeti plains
twilight started to fall over the land
Then in the blink of an eye night falls
no slow fading of light just darkness
The full moon comes out and reveals
the sky awash with rainbows of colour
all left behind by the glowing setting sun
bathing all of the plains with technicolour

The Awakening
February throws off its winter coat,

Greening lawns answer the mower's call,
grass, mud and moss recycled in trees, where
territorial praise greets light April;
Fresh foliage bedeck and blossom white
as Spring flowers in high definition,
ablaze and become technicolour May....

The Saddest Smile
I watched as reason
drained your face,
frowns cracked
to reveal a single tear
buried under the layers
I witnessed as the dye
dripped off the cuff
twin splashes of blue
scarred my cornea’s
I prayed as the colour
drained from your mouth,
as its corners
found the downturn
I cry as you dance
to nightshade,
always believing
the rhythm
would bring you back
and smiling in Technicolour...
