Alone

As time rolls on by a dream, the same dream of our life together, alas always about the memory as light as a feather in Technicolour at one’s tether, that makes life tough like a flower of love alone in an acre of corn. © Harry j Horsman 2012

I can so relate to this one, harry, and the last two lines are outstanding, which reminds me of the birthday card, which shows a lone person in a field. You open the card and it says "for someone who is Out standing in his field" Anyway, thanks for posting three new poems recently.loved them all.

Sometimes these feathered memories lift us to happier times, some time they send us diving into the depths of grief....but always leave myself feeling so alone...even in a crowd. Enjoyed your poem !! Thanks for dropping by my page..
