Christmas Neighbor
I passed my Christmas neighbor walking
tarrying to all
And nodded fast for certainty
that he'd be reached for all

That when we went to go our way
we'd always have our love
When everywhere we went that day
was not for push and shove...

To the Future
not far away i tend to see
a future that will come to me
it will not be an easy path
and tarrying will bring forth wrath
it seems these dreams are heavens gift
and thru it all, my eyes will lift
this word im given's ring is true
so now from this, i speak to you...

Doves
When angels sing
Love begets love
In fluttering hearts
Of soaring white doves
Praying over predation
Tarrying above indolent blues
Serenity rains calm
In the cumulus of heliocentric views
Harrowed by hate
Beseeched by a crimson dawn
Hope sways on an olive branch
Dangling over civilization’s lawn...

To Anemone
Anemone, they say you are wild!
They are fond of tarrying in the shore
They forget how in faith and pride
You cancel what is less to that of more.
Anemone, come and talk to this child
He is sad and tired of their peace and war.
Come and bring every flower: wild and mild
Soften their hearts and for life open the floor.

Premium Member August
A much-anticipated August swoops in,
Unspooling a rather delightful surprise.
Gone; out of a blast furnace, torrid July!
Undulating gracefully in the soft breeze,
Snapdragons tarrying in a vast clearing.
Time to rejoice! Autumn is drawing nigh....

I Remembered Us Singing
I remembered us singing
And from far away
We sounded like a Gathers band today
The consecration, the longing
In our souls pining for heaven
I did not believe so many would die
Never knew they could
Our little church at Flankers
Was like Bethel
And we a little flock where love dwelled
My hope was on a sooner coming
Than this our so long tarrying
What was it I missed
I am waiting still
But the question persist...

Premium Member Beyond Reach
I jumped into the Cosmos
That was calling out my name
I saw a light within reach
A marvel that pulled my soul
To be that part of a whole
My flesh could never reach!
A brilliance so daunting
My heart travelled a distance
The light held my tarrying gaze
And in that very moments haze
It left me in a certain daze!
I stumbled in my pace
Reaching out to catch
All my broken bits in space
My aura guided me into
The light that, I call my own!

Premium Member Fallen Star
Why are there stars
Hidden at night,
Yearning for dawn
To sleep among days bliss.
Hope glistens in the
Eyes of those who wish upon a Star
Racing against time before it completes its decent.
Ever tarrying
Among hunted darkness, the stars
Rid themselves of the ill-fated
Everyone who no longer holds a place among the
Sky are slain,
Torn from there place of
Amenity, given no
Rights to their existence
Stranded from their home, forever gone into the abyss....
