August

A much-anticipated August swoops in,
Unspooling a rather delightful surprise.
Gone; out of a blast furnace, torrid July!
Undulating gracefully in the soft breeze,
Snapdragons tarrying in a vast clearing.
Time to rejoice! Autumn is drawing nigh.
