Working for peanuts,
Peta was sewing,
knowing her garments
would grace Princess Grace

Working, still smiling,
the dollars weren't piling
up in her piggy bank
down at the bank

Working for peanuts,
but she wasn't a monkey
Shame on the 'monkeys'
without shame on their face.

Premium Member The Boss
When he walks in
  all talking stops
No tomfoolery
  in his sweatshop

Do it right the first time
  That's why you were hired
Repeat a mistake
  You'll likely be fired

Start precisely on time
  Work hard until close
No breaks except lunch
  You can do without those...

Yet you've learned to take pride
  in yourself and your work
For a low-paying job
  That's not a bad perk...

Elusive Fate of Africa
Six decades after the slavers were gone
Came along the dragon
With fire to melt our mineral ore, trees to chop
And heat for a sweatshop
Politicians shake hands with eyes closed, as few hands get oiled
So they build the castles, as the majority poor toil
Nothing to show in the 21st century
A homeland is no longer a sanctuary
There is a death toll at shores of the Mediterranean sea
If we are not filling up forms for green visa lottery...
