Nativity's Wings

Nativity spreads white wings
In a triumphant yell of grace
Mercy's advent
Swaddles teardrops
Into everlasting joy.

Standing clouds do scatter.
Sun shines through raindrops, sail.
Smell of rain wet spatter.
Swaddles nature sitting.
Stunning rainbow it spins.

        Sweeps her into its arms

      Cradles her with softness
          Swaddles her with layers

       Night's tender touch tucks her in
          Calling her yet ~ Carol, Carol …

A holy man in a hospital bed
Preciously wrapped,
Like a mystic infant
Radiant, beautifully sculpted
against white sheets.

You're dying you say.
Your voice a lamp,
Another lesson strung
on a rosary of sacred moons,
to be held in prayer,
while darkness swaddles you.

Minuscule sapphire blooms,
timid starlight eyes
verdant foliage swaddles,
exquisite, elegant sight

tranquil, serene, meadows
flamboyant petals play
vibrant, petite, bouquets
baring messages to relay,

soothing mother's anguish,
in sorrow, you're not alone
dainty flowers cradle,
words they cannot say

My heart aches with honesty,
Honestly I wish it would stop,my heart that is....
An appendage of pending trust,
The lust of the lazy,the must of guilt.
Flowers must wilt,eyes will get hazy,
Thoughts get crazy,yet my cup does not tilt.
I am the land whose muddy clutch swaddles seeds into children.
Happiness is squandered,undermanned,and slanted.
The goodness of a man is to give his hand planned and planted.

spring bows to summer
 long nights give way to daylight ~
  footprints on the sand

cold days nod to warmth
 days comes early then leave late ~
  shooting star pizzazz

frost curtseys to dew
 empty fields burst with blossoms ~
  bird songs fill the dawn

tree buds smile with leaves
 barren limbs expand with life ~
  forest greenness thrives

moonlight swaddles night 
  moon shadows dance in rondeaus ~
  summer bows to spring
