muted
      subordinate
sardonic,rambling
              recollections
envelop the ill-informed-
mislead,
      with selected
         distortions
of the truth...
voicing opinions
as fact

So,
Seeing
Successful
Salubrious
Senators sitting
Supposedly serving
Silently subordinate
Society, so sickening
Stomachs, several sundry sullen
Students spurned supporting such senators.

Extrovert and Introvert

You are the extrovert
And I, the introvert
So, what can I do
In order to win you
Should I subordinate
Or should I dominate

I really don't know for sure
But I do know my love is pure
So it should do no harm
To use all of my charm
To lure you
I adore you

Because of You Muse

I found the keys to my mind...
I dismantled the heart lock,
put novel words in the mouth,
Asleep in the light of poems
awake at the dawn of poetry
that your loving eyes inspired,
subordinate to caress
of your hugs and kisses,
I woke up,,,, knowing that now
yes, I am a bard, a poet...!

The Dying Slave

Slumped in his nakedness,
His loose...left hand,
Runs its shaky fingers through his hair.

With his eyes closed,
His subordinate dreams
Are shackled across his chest,
As he struggles with his toiled reality.

Funeral Rites

He asked her why they allow it,
How they could be subordinate to a woman.

“They would never take you seriously.”

She smiled and turned her face,
Moved her stare toward the sea.

“The women bury the dead
The men simply make all the bodies.”

After a while,
The violence catches up to you.

After a while,
There are no more men.

Only bodies.

You inordinate

Textable mouths

Like an agent of change
Your minds a painful page
Working on lines

You a charge that can’t fake in

Untouched

Take from me that which you will Those things that I possess Strip from me the trinkets That speak of my success Look at me with jaundiced eye With disdain on your face Treat me as subordinate Keep me in my place Speak to me with vitriol Mock my point of view Contradict my every word Their meaning misconstrue I can overlook these things As you strive to denigrate Because the measure of a man Is forgiving those who hate

An Excuse Never Walks Alone

An Excuse Never Walks Alone

An excuse never walks alone,
Always’ followed by a reason.
An attempt to defend or justify,
Matters not, the time or season!

An excuse never walks alone,
A pregnant pause dwells near.
A quick release of energy,
Fear ringing still in the ears!

An excuse never walks alone,
Aided by a subordinate clause!
After brief thought we realize,
The excuse was a lost cause!

Obscure Personages of Life

OBSCURE LIFE CHARACTERS

Hero
Your terror is palid..
fear is your greatest gesture!

Soldier
your loneliness
is greater than death...
smaller than an enigma,
a data..!

COMMANDED
The bigger the well
from the horror,
more exposed to
subordinate...

THIEF
eternal processor
of other people's gestures..
overeacting prophylaxis
poorly provided,
usurper of
compromising crumbs,,,

NOZZLE
verbose word
among deaf...
brilliant gesticulator
among blinds...!

She rolls her eyes
and the Devil Dog
knows a subordinate
a savory dish
for her eyes
they deviate

Jackals are gathered
to howl at Sirius
like satellites
they are called up
below it
under its occult rising

The cohort is hoisted
the dole is allocated
immaculate coercion
a spree of offerings
and favors are granted
torches are lit for burning

The ascendent is gifted
the starlet branded
abiding attendants are delighted
under her heliacal rising
Canicula is blazing.
