To purple robed hills
Melody wanders toward
The streaming chant of
Mediterranean Sea.
A river of black birds streaming in air
Just above the bare tree tops
Across the busy street
Were set in motion by busy mobiles,
And I could not see the end
Of that stream above me.

Arch of triumph
Watching the streaming rain
Heavens thunderous cavalry
Retreat.
