There she stood, in a room all spic and span
Her name was Dorothea – the nun of Maryland
Ever so lightly, she picked flowers day and night
Oh! She was indeed the gift of God that did all her tasks

Of silver strands Started to grow indeed In our heads Of extra ordinary lateral parallelism Proof of coolness milestones in our lives Though a rare some and countable sight We believe we stood grounds From spic-and-span Just like our very own grandkids all around Consider as mushrooms of gold Yes, we did beautifully and magnificently succeed On top and taps A toast We made it “unlimited of joys” All the years to come!

how sacred are the raindrops
passage to another world

if I were a raindrop
luminous crystals
window wash the acid sky
and hot sultry earth
spic and span

Drumming down
a fresh start
blessed beginning
for all moccasins to tread
the path of the heart

Sacrificial waters
life giving monsoons
suckle newborn sprouts
feed snow capped
mountain rivers, raging bull
oceans
and the tiny sea inside
a mother’s womb

If I were a raindrop
a merciful tear falling from
