Blood Stains

Copper-like
Blood stains stain my small notebook
Flippin’ sick!

Blood stains
Drain on my piece of paper
Disturbing…

Dried-up blood
Spew out from my open wounds
Bloody mess!

Tranquility

Shatter me like glass…my emotions spew out like a waterfall
I’d love to stay here…but I feel so broken…torn within
Shatter me like glass…my emotions strips me thin…
Pour me into Your delightful cup, oh God! Help me stand tall!

Same

How come
We share the same thoughts
spew out the same words
War with the same sword
As we take on the same world
With our back on the same wall
Hmm how come
We are bundled with the same fear
Wear the same resolve
Ride the same wave
Thus quell the same storm

I Drink of Life

I drink of Life
Of lavish beauty
Consuming its fragility

I drink of Death
From which I flee
And cheat with immortality

I drink of pain
Its utter grief
And spew out my humanity

I drink of time
Of frozen bliss
And Change’s continuity

I drink of love
And drag it deep
For it is my serenity

The Wallflower That Fade and Shine

i saw in the mirror, a reflection of mine
the wallflower that fade and shine
standing atop in the war against my fears
demolished the walls, became a people pleasure
made friends that spew out poison
nothing good came from letting pretenders into my life
took off that mask and enjoyed my own company
now i have someone, a true friend of mine

An Optical Illusion? Or Hysterical Delusion?

Global Warming Intrusion
Just an Optical Illusion?
Or a hysterical Delusion?
What goes up must come down
The media drags us all around
Climate Change is of the Sun
It is basically the only One
The Water Cycle takes the Care
of the Gases in the Air
Volcanoes spew out Gasey Goo
Nothing new , this always was
'cause this is what Our Cycle does.

Hot Water Heater Woes

My faucets run cold, what IS this about?
My hot-water-heater-tank pilot light's out!
Press down that red button and click 'til I pout
Then spew out a string (my religion in doubt)

My stove-top still lights, I can still take a bath!
Boil three piping pots full (I HOPE that will pass)
Teeter and totter like I'm walkin' through glass----
The stopper ain't stoppin', you STUPID dumb-ass!!

Untamed Tongue

Poison flicks out,
among saccharine promises.

His sugarcoated tongue is tarnish proof.

He holds his tongue.
Where shall he place it?
Idle.
Let it rest.

Give permission to taste encouraging syrupy words.

"Love" is apple pie.
"Wonderful" drips of dark chocolate.
"Sorry "soaks of rich coffee savor.

Do not spew out:
"I hate you!"

Tame speech with righteousness.

Quiet tongues are blessed.

- Bite the Bullet -

Exhaust filled alleyways cracked and torn
the wide green parks frail and worn
The factories spew out toxins day and night
winding through the air and blinding my sight
Paint me a picture of petals on flowers
as childhood mica and the glory was ours

To Ken Kesey and Neal Cassady

If lost in yourself,
there’s no need to be found

As the self-disenfranchised,
circle around

They question and lecture,
and spew out their grief

To lure you within,
their false broken beliefs

“You really don’t get it, man,”
they sing from their bus

They say “You’re unhip”
and “You need to be us”

The chanting of laughter,
they march to inane

Where a prank on themselves
—waits in drug induced shame
