Premium Member Unique Similarities

No two snowflakes are the same,
Each one is unique.
It’s the paradoxical similarities,
In their uniqueness
That adds to their mystique
fun

Connecting With a Broken Heart

Separated experiences share similarities
As if they weren’t really so
Differences were handled with fragile hands
And still, permanent are scars that remain

Lessons of Life

On the streets we learn the differences,

in the books we learn the similarities

          the world teaches us inequalities

Let's live a life in love that offers equality...!

I'm just one snowflake out of many
not one of us are the same
we come in many shapes & sizes
we all have our own purpose in life
our differences define us
similarities combine us

Controversial Ending

Similarities and differences amongst all living humans will always exist though people will never be certain exactly what follows their final breath. Only faith and hope can truly provide us our next step when there's nothing left.

Premium Member Tepid Wind

Tepid wind that neither cools nor warms, blowing with no destination. Similarities abound to my scattered mind's state. Thoughts run here and there with no passion, or purpose: with no love.

Opposite

I feel overwhelmed, but with despair.

To do so much, but really, was that all.

As I look back, (oh the similarities.)

For every moment, there is a reaction

Think positive, be strong, and hold on!!

Proposition 8

In the back of bars,
Places my soul Shouldn't
Be.

But isn't this an
Altar, just like the
One you worship?

Differences and
Similarities are
One in the same.

Ignominy, and I
Smug your face
as you do mine.

Soon we'll waste
Away and forget
We even had this
Ridiculous Discourse.

Mankind

Walking down the narrow path of darkness
Souls of black wash away in the skys
Gothic satire drips from the corners of the Earth
Bloodlust creatures scavenge the cores of nothingness
Picking and prying each bone like strings off a guitar
Everything they do is in vain of the other
Despite their dangerous similarities
They despise one another.

Premium Member We Share Similarities

Tender petals of a fresh bloom Grab the sunshine by the horns. And its warm rays of love. Embracing the splendor of love with faith Brought to them, leading to their success. We share the same core nature And if we thrive or perish, is totally reliant on Whether we are loved This is undeniably true.

The Lost Message of Love

My hope to your life
Your smile to my heart
My honor to your destiny
Your love to my happiness

Understanding through everything
Supporting above it all
Appreciating all the similarities
Respecting all the differences

Our many definitions of romance
Being described in the same manner
The words written in a lost page
The lost message of love

The Empty Space

Its shape was humanish
sounds and gestures could convince
the similarities could confuse
but echoes travelled through
slight was less than before
could have been so more
but nothing at its core
still it filled the space
the paper Mache puppet
twists and turns
bends and breaks
crackled and crinkled
looking in the dead doll eyes
nothing in here
no surprise

Solitude

strolling by the path of rugged forests,
gazing around at every thing around,
I enjoy the walk alone.

wandering by the rugged road,
exposed feet to the thorns and bushes,
I feel the life's similarities.

with remembrances of the past,
of the days of cheer, and that of grim
I enjoy the walk alone.

tramping by the woods of green,
treading by the life's dreams,
I feel the life's connection.

Flare-Star

Magnificence in motion, merely growing golden Giant globe of fire, glowing more gold emboldened By similarities to the sun and its flares, a Temper surely both share, but nay I decline to witness such beauty For in my life's breath no such duty To beholden me there Life on earth far more fair Oh flare-star, your flair I will not endure, But when my name is called I will be pure.

Nov 1st

static in my brain and kick drums in my chest
equate the feeling of the constant unrest
in my wrist is a pulse beating beneath my skin
staring blankly while i contemplate the similarities
of plucking the artery or snapping a loose thread
connecting my life from death
ripping at the seams of my bitter disposition
my poor hand of cards
loosing my composure
to break for all to see
or let it consume me

Amongst Giants

Amongst giants, humbled, we become others.
Confidently content, no need for rebuttals.

Amongst giants, silence, for he is quiet by nature.
Similarities are subtle, for we have the same maker.

Amongst giants, admiration for her strength and duty.
Our differences are distinct, as man becomes moody.

Amongst giants, we discover, a remedy for illness.
Purposely positioned, to show us true stillness.
