The light of remembrance
the will’s DNA
Entombed by dementia

The light of remembrance,
the will’s DNA
Entombed by dementia
—forever in shade
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2016)
we catch the drama and
feel the sweet lore of
the ghost moon
behind closed doors
when night
pulls down
her shade
you can change
you not insane
get clean fill your dreams
leave it behind
now is the time
to get new gas
tho you had a
SHADED PASS
The shade of the tree
threw a shadow over you and me
sun was peeping to see
From banished to a desert
To well off, caressed
Tropic; splenderous.
Either side of a tree shade.
Summer's. One confessed
As ubiquitous!
leaves soak summer sun
rustling wind makes green music…
still shade serenades

Shade of green colors.
Paint the incline of the slope.
Hooks come in most types.

When love is newly shaded,
vermin gnaw the heart away.
But they're never really sated
they bore deep into the brain
until all hope crumbles away.
The baby walking
Near with flowers in its eyes
A bloom for life's cares
Hands luring the child
While the heart hisses a kiss
Swords from the fire rise
Peter pan who lived by the sea,
Found summer as hot as can be.
He sat in the shade,
With cool lemonade,
Birds dropped waste on him from a tree.
Spring comes in coloured blooms.
Warmer days are finally here upon us.
Sign of things to come.

Shade
Damnable darkness
Following, chilling ground
Where confusion, doubts dwell

Stayed In Shade
Stayed in Heaven in the shade;
With rest of my ancestors laid;
God me did greet;
Glad would meet;
Great place for me had made.

May we be blessed to treat everyone we meet
in exactly the same way
As if we’re offering them a sweet breeze and a patch of shade
on the hottest summer day.
In shaded modest forests grow
the tiniest white bells pure as snow.
Their wild perfume will stop the show
beneath the charm of any rainbow.

I will allow my past to stay dark.
So those memories will shade me from the bright sun.
That sometimes blinds me with happiness.

Kids of today have got it made
Wanting for nodda, got it made in the shade
When I was a young'un
Wanted to be a someone
Ended up with a life I sure wouldn't trade
Made in the Shade
Ruby Begonia sits in seaside shade
Reading a book and sipping lemonade
Slathers on sunscreen
Her freckles unseen
Miss Ruby won't join the "Nude Beach" parade.
There is this place,
where the sun is dark
and the silence hoarse.
The place in which lies on the ground
without strength to uprise
the shade of a fighter,
the shade of a real man.
Softly, one grey spider weaves
underneath the heart-shaped leaves.
Upside-down, cicadas cling.
All the day they loudly sing.
I stand still beneath them all.
They are little. I am small.
They were white once
Until the hue of rage
Tinted them pink
As colors blend
Muted vibrance keeps
It shone a fair ware
Very fashionable they say
And I grew a fondness
For that particular shade
Form:
frost grows on the pane
creating a most artful shade
then, gone, free of cost

My greatest thrill at this very advanced age
Is watching the Raptors and the battles they wage
If they make it through
To the finals woohoo
Excitement reigns, they got it made in the shade
