Scentless Flower Poetrix
Unscented flower,
made of malleable plastic
it is not a flower that can be smelled... !...

Soulless Spirit Full Within
Blindness seeing vision

Tasteless flavorful bitten

Deafened crackling sound

Deathly hearts pound

Touch less feeling miss

Breathless calm kiss

Scentless perfumed skin

Soulless spirit full within...

Sky Flowers
SKY FLOWERS

Butterfly flowers in the sky
On airy petals they fly by

And colors surprising as the sun in Kerry
Suddenly bright between blossom and berry

Silent, scentless, restless, catching
The eye of people watching...

Malicious Clips
With neither head nor tail
Sans any begin or end

Disliked as barren desert land
Despised as a misborn child

Tasteless wine
Scentless perfume

Ignorance in disguise
Wisdom in distress

Fortune of fools
Scorn of sages

Save me, O Most Wise
From these malicious Clips...

The Difference
Vacant cache
Arid well
Hollow cave
Silent knell

Stony flesh
Scentless smell
Frozen heart
Fractured shell

That was before...

Lively laugh
Refreshing dew
Treasured time
Vibrant hue

Awakened sense
Brightened view
Love's aroma
Found anew

Scent of Flowers
Flowers with scent

Filled the world beautifully

With its real pure souls...

Some scentless flowers

Disguised with fake scent

As it is pure and real...

Petals with the bribe and corruption

Partayed as the beautiful soul

Yet, flowers had many flaws...

Pure flowers vanished

Among the winds of exploitation

As prejudice started to win the world....

Drowning in deep bruised darkness
I search for heartbeats lost within,
Vapors that veiled the vermilion of sunsets,
Orchestrating a funeral for moon-kissed vows, now deceased.
Riddled with regrets and unspoken apologies,
Creating confusion across the constellation, whilst I ponder, was-
Every rose in our garden a scentless lie?...

Premium Member Frustration's Bouquet
Every Spring they march relentless
ugly as sin and almost scentless

  My well-groomed lawn devastated
    annual ambitions again frustrated

'Cos' 'Wendell's Weed Killer' didn't work
though highly touted by expert jerks

At $65 a bag, the stuff wasn't cheap
with joy I sowed, in tears I reaped

But not to worry, I'll pick a bouquet of 'Dandy Lions'
for my wife next Sunday ~ 'With Love from Brian'...

Premium Member She Drew the Clouds Apart
She drew the clouds apart
bid me: “Look beyond”
my darkness

exhale a cleansing breath
whisper: “Let it be”

wave an open hand
in silent peace

inhale the unheard cries
of scentless petals
falling

listen to the mantric drone
of honey bees

watch the darkness shift
through thinning veils

ease into the light
that is your own

She drew the clouds apart
so that I might see
my darkness
