Premium Member The exit
Sitting in my void with thoughts as dark
As night.

Looking for an exit not knowing which one
Is right.

Running around in circles trying to reach
Them all

But in my minds confusion I just find a
Brick wall

I think the voices from the darkness are getting
In my way.

Should I stop searching or shall I search
Some more

And in time I might find the exit I've been looking

And the Scriptures Sayth
And the Scriptures told
of a man on a donkey
they told us how he
would free us from tyranny

What they didn't say was

But we don’t know where

Soon it will be over
Lying in the clover
Next to an old friend Rover
But we don’t know when...

An Ode To Age Seven
time to take tumbles,
time to mistakenly make mistakes,
and not worry.

time for tag,
and tagging onto friends,
rightfully running around in circles until you're dizzy.

wondering "why" every second of the day,
why friends favoured fudgesicle over creamsicle,
why you couldn't and grown ups could.

time to be carefree and curious,
and wonder about the little things.
amused by the little things,
and by the simple things in life,
only wishing to stay seven forever....
