Premium Member Goodnight Sweethear T
Why only yesterday
the craggies youthfully
flowed down your cheeks.

When did your neck
turn tweed and your fingers
thicken more than before?

Sure, your ruggedness attracted me,
but this is different.  Each new line
a furrow of our riverbed,

a new bend toward lights out
and goodnight Irene from more
than a dimly lit dance floor.

Next to you each night
I slumber to your breath
and in slumber, dream eternal youth.

Friend...

You are generous and brave
Funny as can be,
A natural in all that's good
With much sincerity.

Truthful and trustworthy
Your honesty is kind and
I wish to state it clearly
Am glad that you are mine.

You're attentive and considerate
Passionate and true and I
Skip the road of ruggedness 
To only be with you.

For loyalty means something great
Hence needless for correction,
I believe in you and all you do
