Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition
of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Discover a Found Phrasis
passive quiet still
where reflections lie
to wander,to dream
digress and mystify
then discover and discern
the rudiments of grace
with exegesis rather than
eisegesis or paraphrase
a doctrine from macro
to micro....conceived...

The Rudiments of Wings
ones lifetime pursuit
mind and heart are in dispute
faith not absolute
now arrives moment of truth
trust in god or parachute

The Rudiments of Wings
THE RUDIMENTS OF WINGS
Barely stubs,
these soul nodules,
not yet protruding the surface,
still part of the wormlike me.
The force of metamorphosis
thrusts hard against filmy chrysalis;
meconium pulses, dilating miniscule veins.
The terror of change soon will cease,
bring release,
to the rudiments of wings.

The Rudiments of Wings
Upon your wings,
You soar high up,
As far as the wings can carry,
No obstruction to meander,
No obstacle to scale over,
The expanse of the sky is all that there is,
Until your feet find,
A home with the eagles,
An abode with the mighty.

Rudiments of Wings
As a grey dove, nestlings are taught
The Basic Rudiments of Wings:
if one falls, it cannot be caught
First, learn to fly, then how to sing.
A perfect lesson elders bring.
A human babe, on other hand,
is often caught before he stands.
So, as life goes, if he should fall,
expects a catch before he lands.
He needs to learn how to forestall....

Graveyard Angels
wings unfurled in protection
eroded from surrounding rudiments
along a beacon of illumination
visage composed and serene
branching arms cradling cleaving souls
afraid to fade into eternal rest
gifts born from remembrance
weeping, wilting, worn
beneath a wandering ivy-covered guide
quiescent consignor of peace
beyond the cessation of life
- suspended in advocation...

Clown
A clown,
Mirror,reflecting your laugh back.
A clown,
Rudiments of jokes, penetrate hearts.
A clown,
laughing stock,
Prayers of weeping heart,
Burst in laugh.
A clown,
Mask of comics,
Making others joyful.
A clown,
Hiding pains ,making others,
Pleasant.
A clown,
Freezing tears , inner,
Corner of his eyes,
A clown,
Stealing hearts,
By Showering jokes....

Until It Is Unexpected
mr. macy
picture of health
now sounds like mr. troutman
thinking about mouth to stoma
thinking about the whiskers growing
thinking about the phlegm now having a new exit
ms. pennymarker
picture of health
now sounds like the small wonder girl
thinking about mouth to stoma
thinking about the new rudiments of swallowing food
thinking about the regrets now suddenly at the surface...

Birds
Brilliant pilots
With no college certificate, but
Knows all the rudiments to flight;
The escapes, and
Never does crash.
I want to fly like the birds,
Colorful in the sky,
With no buzz as with the plane.
I jumped in the air, but
At once I crashed, and
Bunked my head,
I screamed of pains, and
The sight of the wonderful fleet I lost.
Then in a twinkle little while,
Each party to the fleet
Dropped a bunch of rose on my head.
O! What love untold....

The Rudiments of Wings
Time is exhausting…
It lays in wait
to provoke you
pinches that part of you
that hurts most,
tears away
at your ambition,
laughs at
your inability
to stand up
and fight
futile battles
that bury you.
Try to escape,
but like that
little hamster
on its wheel
you will go
nowhere.
