Rudiments of Wings

As a grey dove, nestlings are taught The Basic Rudiments of Wings: if one falls, it cannot be caught First, learn to fly, then how to sing. A perfect lesson elders bring. A human babe, on other hand, is often caught before he stands. So, as life goes, if he should fall, expects a catch before he lands. He needs to learn how to forestall.

Native Americans do the same. Better one should perish than the whole family . . . ? Aloha!

Hey Rico! Yeah, the wild can be difficult. I once raised finches.Tho domesticated, they retain wild genes. If a bird is born with a deformity, mama won't feed, so it dies. Good for the flock but sad to watch. Take care over there :)
