Winter snows recede
Warmer days do their part
Rivers start to swell
Awakened by natures clock
Hibernating bears emerge
Tops of rivers shimmer
Slowly cutting through the eden landscape
Like a samurai on a hill top
Simulating slow motion combat
solunar evening
serene azure beckoning ~
stirrers of the deep
(August Full Moon – Great Lakes and Lake Champlain)
Rain
Wet cold
Falling soaking running,
Rivers floods desert summer
Baking heating drying
Hot warm
Sun
channel river streams;
flowng ever so daunting
rivers waters flow

Misunderstanding
between
The deep and shallow
rivers
Are resolved when two
murmur
Less words and stop
meeting at sea
rivers flooded lands;
panic sets off - old man says
next year good harvest

Alcedinidae
loves calm ponds and small rivers
brightly colored bird
pretty plumage sturdy bill
rufous-collared kingfisher
incessantly
spilled blood flow
like raging rivers
absorbed into soil
transfusing …nourishing
withered roots
reincarnation
free the rivers course
influence pulls to and fro
forever knowing
shore returned to destruction
anew the cycle begins
Rivers
Flowing over
Destroying many homes
Sadness upsetting many hearts

SOFT BREEZES ARISE
RIVERS FLOW WITH BOLD INTENT
WIDE WELCOMING REST
Written 12/25/21
In the sea I go
Following the waves that flow
In the Under tow
I reckon thee may
Never go to the sun
A heavenly glow
Deceiver, you smile
With subtle grace you hinge me
Rivers flow from you
Standing on the edge of time
No more will I believe you.
Joan Rivers -
Her face saw many surgical scissors,
yet a routine endoscopy ended her life
and she hadn’t even gone under the knife.
three nice things she loves
reading books, the summer-spring,
ponds lakes rivers seas
my beloved poetess
lovely amazing cool girl!
Rain drops beat on my window-
Beyond the crimson blinking light.
As candles drive the fear from night,
Little lakes and rivers flow.
deep flowing rivers
of milky translucent mists
flood the wide valley...
the old wooded hills shiver,
waiting for the sun to rise...
Manatees Are Born
In rainbow sparkles
Which twinkle beneath water.
Mirroring rivers.

Thin deep cuts in pure
white snow,
From which the crimson
rivers flow.
Words longing to be heard,
Silenced by a violent
world.
Rivers and parks
love and sparks
something about you
this time around
7th heaven silkwood
night flight cool down
Still lovin' you
Lilac hush of dusk
Melancholy lullabies
Isolated rain
Wind ripples, mellifluous
Unruly rivers slumber
2/23/20
wash the crevice flow
mountains crumbles from grounds down
below river rains

Larry Rivers perhaps unknown to you
yet an influential art guru
Considered a parent of Pop Art
in mass-media imagery for the most part
Like rivers flow into ocean
Time doesn't stop its steady motion.
And only Love without caution
Survives the time through its Devotion.
