Parting the River
Crisscrossed
your cat's eye
and I pray
you anesthetize me
Now.

Before I speak
Up and stumble
onto this
ridiculousness.

Far fetched and
grotesque is this
self-afflicted
ignominy.

Dismissal, readiness
without a backpack....

Premium Member Outcomers who Refuse Innoculations
Outbreak of tuberculosis
Out and out ridiculousness
Outcomers who refuse inoculations
Outgrowth of a new pandemic
Outlandish selfishness and self-importance
Outrageous and intolerable
Outside of common sense
Outstandingly self-absorbed and neglectful...

Premium Member Now, Is Passed
Listen to poem:
An axiom soon for a dairy truck, as it ambles,
The yellow school bus full of rambunctiousness,
A watched clock tower crowds fate gambles,
The unsteady quietude of the unconsciousness,
The core of crazed vs amazed is its ridiculousness.

Premium Member Loving the Ridiculousness of It
Her text said “I love you with my butt”
Unfortunately, she sent it to the wrong person.
He has been sending her obscene photos all morning.
We know it is someone in the office who knows the boss’ password.
We are all laughing in a loud stupid way, loving the ridiculousness of it....

Kelly Springer
Empty canvass.

Your periscope
Will never
reach my center.

Unless I attribute
Your Felix and
such ridiculousness.

Silly am I?
Well perhaps
It is my unrepairable
Libido now.

And the elderly
Weep while I partake
In sinfulness.

But of course,
we are of the
Thirdkind.

And indeed
A swing-set
Cannot fix this....

Dine and Dash
Disappointment doesn't even
Summarize you.

How awful can this
Really get?

With mazes and mirrors
shattered, bleeding
my skin right onto the
Floor.

In the blink of an
Eye I aspire to leave
This ridiculousness.

Instant satisfaction
Could not come any sooner.

As I retreat into
Your ignorance
I will be leaving
you soon.

Check please....

Roman Empire Revisited
Crimson
and
Velvet Semen

All a sort of
Ridiculousness now,
without treasure
Trails,
Bodies of Evidence
And enough tomfoolery
to induce gluttonous
Indulgence.

And Caligula
would be proud, yes.
But not without
the papyrus reeds
swaying,
Dying.

The sink is full of
Poison water.
And I at least
with try and
Cheat death

With a single
Drink....

Premium Member Losing Myself
I wander away from myself.
In slivers and slips
Bits and pieces.
Tiny fragments,
diamond shaped,
in shards.

Slowly at first,
then in earnest,
Faster and faster.

Spinning my wheels
Running toward nothingness
Throwing myself on the edge of train tracks
Waiting for the train that never comes

Wondering at the ridiculousness
of thoughts I do not claim as my own...

Croydon Part Deux
hoardings of shops on the isle of ridiculousness
the feral pigeons pontificate
the leaking roof of the civic theatre stays
you've seen better days
you've blundered into desperation
bankrupted twice
and now you're turning the middle
of town into millionaires row
ill afforded by the minions
even our local Market is shrinking
an ebb tide of the municipality
Westfield as vexing as a fox in chase
The Central library feels lobotomised
is it part privatised?...

Premium Member I Am Invisible Covert and In Charge
Eyes think they see me.
They see nothing.
No one.
Some think they do.
I smirk at their ridiculousness.
I am invisible.

Ears think they hear me.
They do, but they do not get it.
My meaning is known only to me
Because what I really mean is held silent.
I cover up the real words,
Not trusting them.
I am covert.

Hand reaches out to shake mine.
I yell “Six feet!”
Pretending to be someone I am not
So they will not be able to get close.
I keep them away.
I am in charge....

Premium Member Mama Said
The screaming, the yelling, the kicking, the clawing.
All because he did not get his own way.
He did yesterday and all was fine.
This is the first day of kindergarten. He cannot be the ruler here

The hollering, the shrieking, the smacking, the ridiculousness.
High drama today because his mother says he does not have to listen to us.
We are picking on him.
We are against him.
We are the bad people.

No amount of coaxing, smiling, or understanding can help him.
Because Mama said…...
