William Newzam Nicholson
with still life a reputation won
With brother-in-lw James Pryde
his graphic genre he did not hide
Use your name well with honor
with praise and no blame...
Treat everyone the same
Avoid strange reputation, bad fame...
he believes his intent is camouflaged
his reputation proceeded him on social media
the women turn away in disgust
a transparent disguise
the bridegroom had a certain reputation
but the bride was chaste
as clever young women are wont to be
married in white but why such haste
It takes many virtues for a good man to make
But only one vice his reputation to break!

I met a young woman in Albuquerque
With reputation you could say was murky
I did not mind
For I did find
Her bedroom moves were delectably quirky
He is a caricature of his Dad
A faker, imposter, jester, and cartoon
Some say he’s a scoundrel, some kind of cad.
His reputation depicts a buffoon.
Forget fortune, I want appreciation for my poems.
Forget fame, I want recognition of my existence.
Forget reputation, I want realization of my dreams.
My goldfish Finster Darcy
Speaks English but not Farsi
He has an education
And moral reputation
He does kung-fu better than you
He's such an inspiration.
This famous illegal I took pity
his show was always so smart and witty
poor Dr. Oz
his reputation scarred
deported back to The Emerald City.

The slithering snake
Knows not, the thrill of running
To attack its meals.
His reputation, the "sneak"
Draws fear from every creature.
A great bumper sticker I viewed
“Am I driving too close in front of you?”
Sorry my cranium
Must be Canadian
Our reputation is, we are NEVER rude
Believes every crazy rumor she hears
Car that hit over seven thousand deers?
Reputation clear
Result of drinking beer
People believing her is not one of my fears.
Trust is a commodity not easily won,
A reputation earned thru honor and deed.
A responsibility to be not taken lightly;
A genesis and birth, like the growth of the seed.
The victims' blood is violently splattered,
As his reputation is totally shattered.
Sycophants to the hills have all scattered,
What happened in the past really mattered.
The posse came a-howling for vengeance
The Senator must now perform penance
His pleas for mercy ignored
His reputation was gored
Beheaded by public opinion's sword
Once lived a gorgeous young lady
Whose past was a wee bit shady
A reputation quite naughty
Described as quite bawdy
Grabbed my attention as well as my matey
I knew a young doctor in France
Made his money doing implants
He lost his reputation
In a strange situation
By keeping his tools in his pants.

There once was a fellow from New York
Who had a reputation of being a dork
Could be found in Times Square
Wearing pink underwear
And eating ice cream with a fork!
Our loving sportsman, Sen. Pacman
Never missed a chance of being a samaritan
His humility and hard work earned him great reputation
And yet his whole body endured more refutation.
Okay, I'm back to this innocent old dude
My reputation was in danger of being poopooed
I'm an okay Jack
Back on track
But can't promise I won't be once again crude
Cuckoo has an undeserved reputation
Actually there should be a celebration
They understand it is best
To lay their eggs in another’s nest
Foster bird raises their young to fruition
Fly in the Pie
Dr. James E. Martin
©May, 2013
He bit into his hot pie
And discovered half of a fly.
He tried to be brave,
And his reputation save,
But all he could do was cry.
Your a howling light
A breath of inspiration
Such a wondrous sight
A miraculous creation
Your conformity is right
A beatific reputation
An angel in flight
My splendid salvation
As shadow
Is the slave of man
Man is the slave of
Time
Work
Pressure
Reputation
Greed
Ambition
Emotion
And his or her ownself
So
Free yourself
Before the world can free you
