When sounds of beauty do decay.
Each cadence softly fades away.
Their echoes finally replay.

COVID-19 Instant Replay:
The Super Bowl at Tampax Bay
Where Patrick & Tom
Can stage their sitcom
No matter what the doctors say
Columbus despised local folk
Like Trump, he fibbed as he spoke
But truth be told
He wanted their gold
And you know that man ended up broke
Fast. or slow you won,t more the music is bold soul is gold it's a fact it's comming back it ture in everyway what it. Has to. Say SouL. REPLAY
My eyes remember you.
My ears replay you.
My hands miss you.
My heart hates you.
My arms lost you.
My thoughts find you.
You
You
You
My self is you.
The love of my life - on whom I dote
Was attacked in bed by Bill E. Goat
But she's rather plucky
And felt herself lucky
She could press REPLAY on the Remote.
chime of time we oft choose to rewind ~
to replay refrains as heart’s inclined
why do we shift from the here now this ~
the last time around what did we miss
Let go.
And do not reach out until it's too far to grab back on.
And then just replay the memories.
And smile at what used to be,
What is,
And what will come.
Form:
The Young,
Though still green,
Are ever sweet;
With good hope in morrow,
They bounce.
The old,
Though now fray,
Still can be sweet;
With replay of old tune,
They dance.
Like yesterday's clouds never to return
No memory of the wasted life shall replay
Let the nightmare end and the corpse we burn
Discard the ashes and walk away
Never to return another day
"there is no point dwelling on the past" they say,
forget the old days and carry on living,
but with lessons ignored the past can replay,
and your future will be the past you lived in.
Somewhere...
To find your smile, haunting me in
The replay wrapped in your laughter.
Must I go around the world or
Just outside my door
Where I last saw you...
Going away.

Life is on replay
again
this happeneds everytime
I
see
think
feel
you...
Life just isnt the same...
i
miss
love
hate
you
dont wanna be
without
or
with
you
all at the
same time
I learned to golf the following way;
That after each stroke you shout, ‘foreplay!’
Then when you get up
You shoot for the cup,
And if asked give an instant replay.
For Craig's Golf Limerick contest
if there be
no residue
the moment gone by
ceases to exist
for memory too recalls
longing, regret, remorse
seeking a replay, encore
in a different hue
in another time and form
30-December-2022
a burning yearning playfully arose
cajoling the universe to replay a refrain
however we cannot cross the same river twice
and therefore we smile, yawn and move on
recognising nonchalance holds the key
Such a wonderful present
these moments beside your fire;
So freely gave me a smile
wrapped in a blanket of sound;
Memories wrapped in a bow
remind me with a replay
you are the good in the world.
strife and war are never far away ~ just like xmas and new years day
six months at most either way ~ can santa keep ducking the ricochet
killing in the name…. i heard him say ~ last seventeen lines on replay
A dog went to the vet today
He saw a horse eating hay
got a fleabite
and set alight
and asked for an action replay!

Shifting
Limited Timing
Setbacks, Press pause blaming one another,
Rewind, Replay, Temporary.
Shifting
Dreams, Displaced, Tribulations
Shifting
Despairs, Wins,Losses, Goals, Scarceness
Temporarily?
Shifting
Boiling head
troublesome desires
searching hands
open mouth
storehouse belly
restless limbs
curious camera eyes
laboratory tongue
test tube nostrils
and software brain
but no device for replay
the rich documentary
Summer was here at last
cricket,stumps and pads,
dusted off,leather on willow,
echoed across the green
No scorers or umpires,to dispute
adjudicate,challenge or replay,
honesty justice shout,if
caught,bowled or run out
engage, participate, release
with neither memory replay
nor anticipating outcomes
what remains is the now
in sync with our breath
lived, not imagined
enlivened by bliss
pulsating within
17-December-2022
I will remember my dreams tonight,
I say to myself as I turn off the light.
But still, my dreams refuse to stay,
and leave me at first light of day.
A dream recorder, please someone make.
So I can push "replay" when I wake.
If I could hit pause.
If I could hit replay.
Just for one more day, to not overthink or sink.
Just to converse and try not to curse.
To not be overly friendly or overly petty.
To not be overly stark or overly dark.
Maybe one day.
