Different Kinds of Beauty
There are beauties
that don't resist,
don't even survive...
Distorted beauties
of the commercial songs...
beauty of doubtful tastes
of addictive repetitions...
beauties that don't
remain wonderful... are
only imposters...!...

29 Words
Terrified I cowered deep in closet.
He was coming.
My panic increased with each passing second.
The door opened!!
His words became audible.
"Gotcha!"
"Perfume!"
"A DEAD give away."
29 words. No repetitions won 9th place...

History
History never goes away totally
Some remain
The repetitions of characters or mischieves
Selfishness
Greediness
Aggressiveness
Maybe we man
Who discovers the time
Who invents the clock
Who discovers the black hole
Who travels in space
Can stop or reverse time
To return to the previous gland age
For a better trial
A rebirth
And a better tomorrow
May be a new kingdom in outer space...

Alzheimer's
Alzheimer’s
The days of old with time have passed away.
But memories dwell within ones heart, and soul.
And come back dreaming like a little child.
Sentimental visits… thoughts preoccupied.
That sometimes burst into showers of tears.
Time-less repetitions waltz through ripe minds.
Until each notion proceeds past forever…

Rhymes
Word repetitions with similar sounds come with rhythms quite often in rounds to pen and paper from deep within me thus jot down so-called poetry. Once there before- see with my eyes lyrics from words- music disguised and I am proud to call this all mine -scores of notes from once were rhyme. Spirit and words are often harmonic creating tunes which we call music. To work and perform-essentially a must, not poetry, not music but delivering us!...

This Odyssey
The wound peeks out
from the round eyes. No lashes,
brows. Singed face betrays the scars
of last century.
He was fighting with his fists only.
Iced lids throwing the flames;
god knows what was the pain of memories?
He did not reverse the wheels of woes;
did not bring back the stream
lost in the volcanic rocks.
Playing truant from black death
a frail hope kindles the small fish
to swim against the current,
ruts of repetitions and bores of endless
barrels shooting roadmaps.
SATISH VERMA...
