Once We Are Grown

Once we are grown,
Days are a blur—
Then we bemoan
That all beauty must fade;

Thus it is shown
With no demur:
Youth is a loan
Which cannot be repaid.

Premium Member Debts

Just like my ridiculous amount of financial debt,
With the amount of lost rest accumulated as a sleep debt,
These will never be repaid until the day I am surely dead.

although all debts of love have been repaid
and we no longer assign souls a grade
life as already impulsed does flow on
which matters not since in bliss streams we wade

Two brothers from Wichita
Borrowed 600 dollars from Ma,
Needing money to pay college fees,
They repaid their debt with ease-
Selling Pizzas from a hut,was a breeze.

Pride and Honor

I got to wear a badge for S. County
Key access, email, laptop, equipment
I was trusted with tax dollars
And invested in with time, talent, thought
Wise words from my mentors
And a desk

Thank you for your time
And your trust

I hope I repaid it
In new vision, completed projects
And servanthood.

I'Ll Find You

Someday you see, you'll see me
And I'll see you. I will see the real you.
We'll talk a little and fall in love.
You'll respect me for wanting to wait.
Your respect will be repaid in kind
And our love will grow even deeper.

I haven't found you yet. I hope it won't be long.
But for now I'm weary of this search.
So I must take my leave.

Remember Newton's Third Law
Forces result from interactions
Are equal and opposite
Wow
A lovely definition to remember
I hope that
My love to my hubby is repaid
My love to my children are repaid
My love to the others is valued
My love to God is utmost and eternal
With the encouragement of
Newton's Third Law
Let's give before we take

Reimbursement

lender lends by
expecting return

That is purely a
debt owed by the
other
if reimbursed left
nothing behind
no future dues is
there

If without expecting
anything one helps
Monetary debt may be
repaid back
But of love and kind
that can’t be
except returning
love and respect in
future

Life Goes On

First it was seizures
And then I was blind
Sight was returned
And then I was fine.

Then came the cancer
But I was not afraid
Just a little annoying
Then life was repaid.

A life threatening event
The doctors said no way
In my determined mind
I said I’m here to stay.

A cat has nine lives
I think humans do too
I’ve used three of mine
Four more I am due.

Pain and Relief

TO THE MEDICAL STAFF OF THE HOSPITAL
pain to ruin,
reliet to save,
great
is the job
by the doctors who trace
the way
to protect the life,
right
and brave are the moves,
courageous- the looks,
and priceless
the outcome
for the Dads and the Moms,
the thanks can't be counted,
never repaid,-
the only word to describe is
GREAT!

Paeon To a Texas Victory

I sing the joy of victory won this day at San Jacinto.
General Sam Houston and his men defeated a large armed force.
Mexicans were defeated at this run by a "rudimento".
They did not watch for Texans who could attack now from a new course.
Travis and friends are finally now repaid for their well spent lives.
Soldiers did fall defending a brick town structure fore help arrives.

The River Where You Lived In 2010

I, ashamed.
On my last trick
Feeling heartsick –
To conquer is selfish but brave.

Focus, feel peace.
Pinwheeling
Cling to the last thrilling –
Heart clutches and trembles and caves.

Spinning, reclaimed.
Hang on home harbor
Under ancient arbor –
The treasure that’s never repaid.

Refresh, release.
It’s a strange cycle
Paint me, pin me idle –
Tame me and ride with the waves.

Time

Saw us come, watched us grow
Will witness the day we must go...on
Saw us through the wounds we beared
Shared the tears we shed
For all we cared...
Lent us smiles that warmed our hearts
Never asked to be repaid
Like Mother's love
Gives and gives...
Nurtures all we are
Like Father's foresight
Knows that day must come
When days must end.

If Only

If I touch a burning candle
I will feel no pain
If you stab me with a knife
It’s just the same
And as the light in my eyes fade
My life’s dept has been repaid

And as though life cannot be freed
In my eyes I’ll walk in heed

If I jump in freezing water will I burn and die?
If I jump a cliff will I soon fly?
And in these years left unread
It never mattered what was said
And soon words were dead

Captivated by the throb of silence,
wherein presence dwells free from stress and strain,
free from clutches of thought borne violence,
we meld with melody of soul’s refrain
and thus rapture borne by bliss beats ingrain.
Glimpses of truth on us has been bestowed
and we’ve repaid debts of love that were owed,
so living internally, we’re at peace,
with each life breath, paying to God an ode,
obtaining thus from delusion release.

Caged

I grew up holding unto the hands of anger, It was easy for it to ruin my life. If I could turn back the hands of time, I wouldn't have held that knife, I thought the only way to ease the pain was to take her life. After all, I did for her, The sacrifice... All she repaid me with; were lies. I gave so much to you I gave so much to us Look where we ended up. You, in hell. I, in a cell. We are both caged for life.

Prob React Solut

the issues here we all must bear
are only just effects
the cause is what we all are scared
to study the defects
if i know what the outcomes are
and know a pawns reaction
the business of terror goes far
and therein lies attraction
tho i will not abuse my people
they are often blind
so i will lead and do no evil
to be repaid in kind
to solve a problem ranging ages
takes a new attack
the ones who make history pages
know thats what we lack

Given

The bad side of town
Shouldn’t have gone

Giving things away
Not theirs to take

Something so precious
You hold onto tight

Once it leaves
There’s no more fight

Standing still
Lost in fright

A pain erupted
Not a clue

On the ground
Shots fired

No more pain
Just another body

Lay next to me
Not another breath

Could never be repaid
One for another

A gift
No gift recipient

No way to change
The new reality

The Backyard Trance

Facing the world like a judge;
A judge in his own case,
which ended with a phrase,
‘Guilty’ my lord.

For aeon of its destruction,
which for long cost it its beauty,
and its ancestral history said in misery.
Will I ever get an absolution?

Absolution from the air,
and the breeze the trees give unpaid
But with decapitation I repaid the Acacia.

Absolution from the beauty I trampled on in recur.
Will I ever be forgiven?
Oh! Please, answer me Mother Nature.

Premium Member Never Forget

Into the burning infernos they charged
With valor and courage and hearts enlarged
Without concern for the risks ahead
They ventured to save other lives instead
New York’s bravest and finest pros
Reacting valiantly in terror’s throes
As a nation looked on in shocked surprise
Our heroes became angels before our eyes
The sacrifice that their families made
Never in this lifetime can be repaid
But we can help them stay proud with no regret
By ensuring that day we never forget
