Premium Member She Brought a Horse
It was a foot race
There were murmurs when she brought a horse
Arguing that she is the queen.

We relented
A few people were killed
But only commoners, so it was okay....

Never Any Doubt About Trump

In our minds about Trump was no doubt,
President in White House must remain out;
Never repented,
Or relented;
Acted like child and would shout and pout.

Premium Member I Wanted Color
I had a black and white kitchen
It was not me, I wanted color
But I had relented to a man’s whim

I visited my girlfriend’s home
She had no man
She had color here, there, hither and yon

I got rid of the man
and the kitchen
And colorized my home

Best move ever...

Fulfillment In Love
finally, the woman relented,
unconditional love, I made to her;
causing her to become contented,
knowing this was not just an affair.

I wanted her to be mine for always,
nothing in the world should deter,
given my life to her for all days.
just as long forever I stay with her...

Playing the Game
Tottenham had no spine today
Often blitzed, without apparent apparel
Maybe too many stogie's behind the training shed
Figures of lampoon
How they fail
in the April of decline
Captain said the performance
was not good enough
The Cockerel has relented to Play
There's no vitality going forward
and the back four, butter by default...

Winter
I ll sing a song of Winter gales
its got us in its grip
everything from storm to ice
A Magpies solitary glance is all we need

The grey sleet
beating over hills
crouching for shelter
where the grass is scant

And Mother Nature has relented
refusing to play Nursemaid
As a poet we offer an elegy
to the Russet Sun of Summer
we had known...

Was Not Intended
Was Not Intended

Was not intended
When my endeavored ended
Rules were amended
Into air blended
Casket cemented
She had consented
Car door was dented
My eyes had glinted
Answer was hinted
Not oriented
I had relented
Vessels were stinted
Ended up suspended
Room was well-vented.

You get to pick out last one you
want for last line. Jim Horn...

Premium Member Just One Hit
Lost inside of a sexy playlist,
made out with a one hit wonder boy;
Vintage crooning with a virgin twist;

Record for an intimate convoy,
the first track behind a one night stand;
I relented and became your toy;

Undercover art of reprimand
amplifies the volume in the air;
He jammed alone never with a band;

Just one hit with emotions laid bare,
hit replay step back in that affair....

The Voice of Norway
The voice of Norway
It was there
At the border
A gray mass of stones
Between two countries
One country
Wanted to give it away
As a good will gesture
But the people
Those who didn`t know
The mountain existed
Said NO
We will not give away
 A pebble
Of our nation
There was waving flags
The authority relented
Took the offer back
The people had spoken
With a narrow- minded
Nationalistic fervour...

Surrogate
she was giving birth, a surrogate mother, to a rich childless couple. she had been instructed to not look at the baby, did and relented, she had given birth
 a wonderful newborn how could she give it away?
sensible people told her it was for the best, the child would get a good education, she the mother could not give her.
Under pressure by the righteous, she gave the baby away
but she will forever regret her decision....

Heavenly Showers
HEAVENLY SHOWERS

She was sun-scorched,
Seared and parched,
Aching for heavenly showers!

Delaying, dithering, though, at long last
He relented, bowed.

He laved her with love,
Soaking all her heat
In his own pores.

He caressed the hearth.
The sky kissed the earth.

She was now radiant,
Ravishing…
Reciprocated now she-
A waft of love from her bosom, at long last
Rose up towards him.

Soaring high and high.
The earth kissed the sky.

Will I find my sky?...

Betrayal
Betrayal

While sending out this email
Surely felt a sense of betrayal
From those in America who live
And find them hard to forgive
What will the future entail.

Jim Horn

As a retired veteran Trump is a slap in the face.
Wonder how Captain Khan's parents are accepting
all of this

May Be Resented

If by no one was I consented
Catch disease, may be prevented
To ballot box had proceeded
By Hillary was badly needed
Gave up and Trump relented.

Unrest of Spirit
The commotion comes with aggressiveness,
It haunts me without having a chance to atone;
Nothing seems to be clear enough I digress;
The addiction is high it makes me forlorn.

In time I had voluntary admitted myself to rehab,
The unrest of my spirit fought me without respite;
I had decided to be clean even though I was drab,
The unrest spirit of alcohol relented without a fight.
