Card Game

Handed a deck of
Twos and
Threes,

Yet expected to have
Kings and
Queens.

You have anything less
Than a jack?

Prepare to be a reject.

Human Beings Contrast

the beggars
              collect and eat
sans dishes, no forks and spoons
            What the affluent reject
            and do not consume

Blank Canvas

Blank canvas
I only want to destroy you
With a myriad of color
And life
Yet you refuse to hold
Deny my shade
And reject my imagination
For all it was worth

Not Be Greedy

"I will take happiness, one who gives me;
 I will reject sadness, one who tries to give me;
Because I'm not a greedy one who will accept everything from others".

Premium Member A Compelling Adversary

Fear, always a compelling and daunting adversary -
To sanction fear in my life is to reject the power within.
That I am made in the image of God, I must believe!

Substituting Life With My Own Reality

with my eyes closed
music in my ears
the world around me drowned out
senses occupied
I reject my given reality and substitute my own
Just for a moment
And then I’m back

A subject missing from Mother Goose
Nor found in the works of Dr. Suess
   You wouldn't expect it
   They'd surely reject it
The tale of the head 'Unloosed by a Noose'

Reject all worldly pursuits.
See through the game but play it anyway.

Trump Further Inspect

Trump Further Inspect

When Trump we would further inspect,
Discovered has been a human reject;
Off his rocker,
And a mocker,
As well as dumb ***** we did detect.

The Road To Hell

The road to hell was paved with interesting intentions
It’s an alternative route for those who will dare damnation
I wonder why some people actually reject redemption!

The monster wanted love from the maiden
And gold that the townspeople paid him
When it came time to collect
Him the maiden did reject
To contain his wrath none could persuade him

Premium Member Triggered by Truth

To those who reject it
Truth is a trigger
While to those who embrace it
Truth is a glimmer
Of the light and love and joy
That so utterly and simply
Is what it means
To be alive

Constancy

Constancy of will is a power
    Present where few may expect.
Men who won’t rear it reject
Dreams to blossom into a flower.
