She Needs Reforming

His lackwit ladylove rubbed our family wrong
She came in singing a bawdy pirate song
We were silent, our absolute and only ways strong
We sat back in our bean bags, and handed her a bong

Summer Rooting Sex

Organic mass
made of ripening sexual energy

As time revolves Earth's power
light and dark unfolds
bright green reforming
blue sky grass

Mourning misty meadows
surrounding
and surrendering
fragrant sassafras.

Devil Fire

Choices
a reminder …
each one comes with a cost
Freedom won
or gallows hung
to gain what could be lost
Decisions
cross the tundra …
reforming time itself
Transporting ice
through devil fire
—one glacier left to melt

I Hate

I hate

I hate how you play with my mind
Reforming, reshaping each thought
Still looking for two of a kind,
Forgetting this tale has no plot.

I hate how you torture my past
Still looking for futures beyond
In cruel tomorrows you last
Forgetting today hasn’t gone…

Not Me...

Emotional reconstructive surgery
Tiny cuts deep within
Bending, breaking, reforming
The pain is hard to deal with
But the outcome will be worth it
No feeling, like nerves gone dead
All numb with a sense of loss
Breathing labored, and winded
Razors couldn’t cut this deep

Bankers

Bankers from their benches to cicumvent in webs
Anxieties of the dwindling bread in vicious schemes
Nation-states invent, becomes by promise celebs
Kindled on uncrowned hearts, now dries up dreams.
Ensnared we ponder at reforming this global art
Reviling old landscapes and phantoms of magic lust
Servile greed has coffled all to the stagnancy of trust

Underestimated

“Underestimated”

Underestimated
the monster inside
deconstructing data
reforming standards
non-standard calibrations
turning below above inside

inside above below turning
calibrations standard -
non standards reforming data
deconstructing
inside the monster
underestimated

Aborning

In the chill of the morning
As a new day is dawning,
Rabbits emerge from burrows yawning
Fish in limpid pools spawning
Busy bumblebees from hives start swarming
Pretty flowers on bowers adorning
Noise from rustling trees informing
Creatures of the forest a warning
While birds in the air are reforming
Kittens and puppies are performing
As another day is aborning

Skyward

Skyward turn my eyes and dream
The surface clouds,
Drifting in the blue,
Dispersing and reforming.
Amorphous by their nature,
The ether of emotions,
Summer white
Or thunder storming.

To you I tilt sequential,
Fractions and equations,
Priming of the heart,
Charging and imploring.
Skyward turn my eyes, and cry
Into the heavens,
My heart of hearts
For you is soaring.

A Spiral

i want to tear my body into ribbons
and watch myself cascade down onto the floor
i cannot keep reforming myself just to fall apart again
efforts to maintain a stasis in composure are wasted on this anxiety-ridden mind
my legs are still writhing in pain
my chest hasn’t ceased its tightening
i don’t understand it
i can’t keep this up
i don’t know if i’m cut out for anything
it’s all so much right now
too much

In the Sunshine of Our Life

She’s out there in the cold
And I alone in her warm house
The moose is on the branch
She the owl, white as rice
I write of nature, because it is her nature that she play soccer
In 40 degree weather
8pm on a weeknight
While I type in her living room
Reforming myself
Seeing the monkeys on the branch
Realizing the leaf may not block us forever
For the sun appears as everything blows
In The Sunshine Of Our Life

North of North's Shore

As I walk out past the sands of Loyola beach,
out to the lighthouse on the point,
I thank god for this small retreat, this recouping,
and reforming of my reckless life.
An unusually warm May wind
caresses my face and tickles a foreign smile
upon my lips.
I look at the vast cloudless sky
and seemingly endless waters
and begin to realize my purpose again,
my reason for being, myself,
and my happiness so long forgotten.

Good Morning

It is the beginning of the day
The cock crows
The cool breeze blows
Toads and crickets retire to their homes
As birds start to sing sweet melodies above.

The earth is wet from the midnight dew
The cloud all white reforming its blue
All plants arise for the sun to shine
Breakfast bennnnn ready for us to dine.

Bright and brighter
The day gets better
What tells the atmosphere?
It signals that the sun is near.

Hopscotch -E

I stare at the playground
Its been a long time since Ive been here
The hopscotch marks are fading..
..Once upon a time they were clear
but those memories are shading.
Alone in the cold,
 thinking:
please bring back the old days.
For what is good today
was shunned upon yesterday
and night has turned into morning.
time is reforming
I dont like it, so i stare at the white lines on the gray concrete
I throw a rock and start hopping with moving numbers under my feet.

It Could Be Me

For her mistake
I never see a disguise of blessing
I heed not the voice of mercy
My love was violent
For her mistake
Irrational and impatient.

I thought she was done for
No glimmer of hope
Bottled and tight like a knotted rope
she is so close, in anger I burnt
I thought she was done for
Her shame, I preached.

I got the chance of change
When I thought the same for me
A light of reforming
To cleanse my oozing hate odour
I got the chance of change
With the scent of adour.
