FRANCIS OF GOD
Spiritual fruit of God,
Reflector of loving peace,
Pontiff of justice:-
Labors of love completed,
May his spirit remain here:-
MONOKU'S MONOKU
eye is the absolute reflector to the things we see at a time
reflection keeps memory so past old seen things can be memorized
unseen things can not be stored in mind so remains out of memory
Sky lit with fire
lights in my heart, a desire
I match my attire
Sky full of grey clouds
Worst fears persistently hound
Desires know no bounds
Desires go taller
Along with the fall colour
Sky the reflector
- 25.08.2015.
By Shrineetee Kar for the contest by SKAT A.
It shines continually over our sullen earth,
Pleasantly parading these dark spaces in a splendour of righteousness,
Seldom does it cease; save for a moment,
As soft cotton wool covers it’s glow.
Searching for love in a dense cosmic plain,
It is the sign for us to believe again

The Abortion
Morning broke in the Sea of Japan
the rainbow was off-colour
A day was born.
Incomprehensible
thought it had power
to charm us
When it was a reflector of the weather.
The rainbow couldn´t hang there
but it was erased by an invisible hand.
the day aborted
into hate and ignorance.
She was in hospital
there was nothing he could do.
The night was bleak.
In truth no desire to serve
Though any doing is with verve
Yet if the need arises
As and when empathy rises
From the domain of oneness
Universal consciousness
We hasten to respond
Being free of narrow bonds
Thus with a ready embrace
Face to face
Act as a transmitter
Or rather as a reflector
Of the pulse divine
With which we align
In continuance

Born into a life of infinite fights,
Welcoming the days of peace,
Forever turning all the wrongs into rights,
Struggling to break this leash.
Curse my destiny,
My everlasting grief,
Searching for a grand epiphany,
A Being to be my Chief.
Alas, the omniscient eyes of the reflector,
Show me where the answers will be,
As taunting as a Jester,
I realize they all lie within me.
Form:
Reflector not the doer
thus with this recognition
flows gently in quiet surrender
in a continuum of prayerful meditation
Stupor yet interrupts pure loving intent
hypnotic trance of ego origin
if our fulcrum be content
we be in bliss ignition
Recalibrating instinct
feasible solely by grace
for making of ferality extinct
requires assimilation at an easy pace

The day's wound down, its course's been run
The moon's a reflector, long gone's the bright sun
Your offspring transition to destinations far-flung
At work your job goes to a much younger one
You pack your boxes, put your house up for sale
Retirement villages beckon with their 'Holy Grail'
You're about to enter your Golden Years
Whence all your doubts? Where from your fears?
The desire to serve
Noble yet ego present
For feel good factor
Love is compassion
A truth we do not deny
If intent be pure
Purity is void
Presence identityless
A humble conduit
Moon a reflector
Has beauty beyond measure
Lifeless without sun
Let us be watchful
Lest we fall in the abyss
Of dark delusion
Ego relentless
Yet it dies in an instant
If we embrace love
04-October-2020
Feeling soft soil squishing between my toes
is but one pleasure my garden provides.
I love how its sweet smells engage my nose,
the sunshine, fresh air, and much more besides.
I've never used chemical pesticides
and welcome nature's critters every spring,
from caterpillars to the birds that sing.
Color draws butterflies to sip nectar,
while wild mushrooms create a fairy ring
encircling my placid pool reflector.
