A Black Hole
The light life hath stole
Left my sprit missing a whole
A preacher with a black book
Opened my blind eyes to Luke
Between my heart and my soul
A void I can’t curtail
A deep, unguarded fragility
My fading centre of gravity
So I wonder as I go
If truth my heart doth know
My mind hath rationalised fear
To give my whole a long stair
A black hole that echoes cries
An abyss - on the surface - bliss
Cradled in the palm of the sun
Rises and falls into the unknown...
