Walk Me Home In the Rain

The soft heartbeats of rain under our silvered umbrella home. Whispers of gentle wind colors under our love filled dome. Ever in my memory this Monet moment doth live. Two enchanted entities who were about to surpass love's boundaries to give. That gardeniaed, honeyed, rainbowed, remembrance. Has made the ocean of my life crest in aquamarine, charmed, forever, tenderness.               10-25-2020                 Poem # 5

This is just so beautiful, Pangie. I loved "Whispers of gentle wind colors", and also "Monet moments". I'm a real fan of Monet, are you too? ~ John

Of the Impressionists, I love Monet and Renoir the most. I still wish to visit the Institute of Art and see Renoir's On The Terrace, one of my all-time favorite paintings. And the famous Seurat pointillism painting. Would also love to visit Wrigley Field. Just have to dodge all the bullets flying, right? Yes, I too love Debussy - so calming. Go Tampa Bay!

Hi John. This poem moves me. Not all I write does.i would be insane to think so. Thank you for being specific about what you liked. I like Monet and Degas...I took a course in the humanities at the U OF CHICAGO. Covered art, architecture and composers. Spent much time at the Art Instititute studying the actual paintings. )) Love the music of Debussy. Mmm. Ball game tonight.go Tampa Bay Pangie
