A Day at the Races

   manes plastered down
     quarter-horses
   put through their paces
     lightning-like, whips crack the air

   puddles mirror rainbows
     sunshine peeks from clouds
   hands folded around cash
     spectators pray to gods unknown

Your Will

Take my selfish will away,
I want to do your will.
We don’t why we get put through struggles
Feeling god left us and don’t care.
So we let our selfish will over power god’s will.
Get rid of your selfish will,
Do gods will.
He hasn’t left you,
He’s there always for you.

Table of Love

You wont need the table of love
What was meant to be
was put through the letter box
You truly broke my heart in two
You've lost your tears of joy
and lifted a heart of stone
like a medal of spinsters honour
See me through the broken rain
My misery wont leave me alone
I beg of you
for things that needed to be done

Lost Innocense

PLEASE!..... Dont touch me, dont touch me.
Just go away.

I hate you, i hate you.
Now i'll never be the same.

I trusted you, i trusted you.
How could you do this?

The pain, the pain.
Of being put through this.

Why me?, why me?
Is it something i cant see?.....

No one knows, no one knows.......
What happened to me.

Hell

They have always called me fat
They have always called me ugly
Yet
They honestly don't know
That they are putting me through
Hell
You know the place
Where those who were bad
where meant to be
Hell
Is my life
Hell
Is what my life mainly consists of
Hell
I hate my life
But yet I honor it
It allows me to be who I am
Today
Hell is what I've been put through

Sadness

Growing up I had a lot of pests
But I always learned to do my best
the things I got put through
I don’t know why I did everything you wanted me to
I wish I could change my history
I still don’t know why you were always pissed at me
you’re the one who always made a mess of me
but now things changed for the best of me
I love my life more than ever
now can you stay out of my life forever.

Mothers Day

Mother, I want to thank you
for all the work that you put through
In raising me and loving me too
You are one great mother I always knew

You are the one who takes care of me
And the one who keeps me happy
Today is your day set your soul free
You are what every mother needs to be

I enjoy seeing you everyday
for your hard work I will repay
I just wanted to come and say
Have a wonderful Mothers Day

"all I Want Is Some One To Love Me"

I give my love to,
but all u do is stabb me in the back.

U say u love me, but all u do is mess wit my head.
If u dont love me then leave me,

I dont need to be put through all this pain n sorrow.
I gave u everything u asked 4 n all i get in return is " I HATE U" its okay i understand u have
been through alot.

But why take it out on someone u love.
No matter wat i will always love u 4 who u are....

Number One At Last

NUMBER ONE AT LAST

Crouched over a desk with knees tucked under
Echoes of that old schoolroom haunt me still
The teacher’s comments as loud as thunder
It seemed to me I was put through the mill
Vocal contempt at my quivering quill
Always marked down across all the classes
A record of failures and no passes
But Autumn term and a new school beckoned
My life changed when I was prescribed glasses
I mostly came first and rarely, second

The Cracked Clay Pots

The old, cracked clay pots on the shelf They've been there so long I leave them there as a reminder Life leaves deep wounds from wrongs Some cracks are deep with crevices bold Some so fine almost unseen Those have been repaired hold the soul But none can repair the genes They are so old and unwanted now Their shelf life ending soon Their souls have been put through the fire Only use is to be ground up and strewn

My Friend

you're the kind of friend
I'd buy though not on sale
the best that I can find
the one I put through hell
I hope you'll stick around
but only time will tell

you're the kind of friend
I run to when all goes wrong
you put me back together
with comfort that is strong
dry the tears I cry
when I am overwrought

you're the kind of friend
that needs to wear your boots
when I get way too deep
like a pc that needs reboot
a few of the things I love
about a friend like you

A Risky Proposition

It was a risky proposition.
yet they held no inhibition.
Then formed a coalition.
obtained the disposition.
And it became a mission.
to make the acquisition
Ancient gold exhibition.
Had the right condition.
with all inside position.
Ran Into opposition.
Hadn't figured on sedition.
Stan the finger in suspicion
put through the iquisition.
Couldn't explain his transition.
One slug the ammunition
He's a ghostly apparition.
In moldy decomposition.
It was a risky proposition.
